Diamond Jim's and Mrs. Donna's Livingston

Best steak ever! I'm from the Baton Rouge area but travel a good bit. I never miss an opportunity to stop and eat at Diamond Jim's. It is now hard to enjoy a steak anywhere else.

Went there for my birthday dinner. My steak was overcooked, they gave my daughter the incorrect steak and then when we sent it back we were told “it’s the same price why don’t you go with this. We might be able to cook you what you ordered. They charged us soda prices for our drinks. $90 wasted after tip. Terrible restaurant

The waitress was very nice very talkative and the steak was very good probably the best steak I’ve had in my life the fries weren’t so good though but I definitely am gonna be coming back to this place sometime

Highly recommend Diamond Jim’s. Had supper there last night, my husband ordered a steak which he said was very tender and I had my favorite hamburger steak. Worth the drive.

To much seasoning on my steak this time. So much that it had a burnt /charred taste.

I usually do not write reviews but on this night (9/7/24) was the worst experience I've had at Diamond Jim's in Livingston AL. We (group of 7) arrived at around 7:30 and received our food at 8:40. We were aware of at least 2 parties of 5+ and 1 couple that came in after us and received food before us. Lastly, the waitress waited until she gave most of us our entrée before informing my wife that her entrée (fried oysters) was out.. all in all we figured that our server/waitress was fairly new because this was horrible.
