We stopped in for lunch going through. Absolutely so glad we did. The chicken was amazing! Service was friendly and unbelievably fast. I felt like we’d barely ordered and it was right out with a smile. ? Definitely stop on your way in or out of PCB area! We’ll be back very soon.

We stop every time we pass through Luverne on the trip from Illinois to PCB. I time our departure each way to get there for lunch. 2.5 hours from PCB. So good. They must brine the chicken because it is some tender juicy fried chicken. Best around. Must stop every trip. It's the highlight of this fat guys vacation.

We got to our hotel late and we're trying to find somewhere open. The chicken shack was. We ordered a burger and fries, onion rings, grilled cheese and tomato soup. Gave a pick up time for about 15 minutes. I did have to wait about 5 minutes upon arrival but that was okay. Staff were very friendly. Reasonably priced. If you order online, make sure to do it through their website because prices are much cheaper. Portion sizes are adequate. The grilled cheese could had been cooked a little longer, but I would definitely have food from there again. The onion rings were 5/5. Even delicious the next morning cold. The burger was pretty good too, but needed a bit of seasoning. Get the shack sauce!! It's kind of like a raising canes sauce but a little tangier. I'd love to try something else if I ever come back.
Parking: The parking lot is on a hill. There are several spots against the building that are flat, but a lot of them are on an angle
