Stopped by here with a few friends after wanting to visit for a few weeks. I was greeted when I entered and requested a table for our group. They provided menus with a small picture book of some of the menu items; I've never had this experience before. Kudos to the owners for doing this.I was informed about the different broths in each type of ramen. This label for the menu would be nice. My original intention was to order the Curry Ramen, but I held off after hearing that it had beef broth and couldn’t be changed. I ending up ordering a Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. While waiting for my order, I grabbed some complimentary Peach Oolong Tea, which was very appreciated. I even grabbed some to-go!Once I received my ramen, I was a little surprised to see a hard boiled egg. Most places usually have soft-boiled, and one of the owners indicated that they intend to continue this going forward. I’m personally not a fan, but the ramen was decent. The broth wasn’t as hearty, but definitely imparted a good umami flavor. The chashu was nice and thick. We were also served some house made kimchi, which I enjoyed. It had a nice crunch but could use some spice. The owners indicated that they were still experimenting with their menu. I plan to come here again and try some of the other items.

I grew up in Hawaii and lived there for 26 years. I stumbled upon this place and couldn't be happier. Having just moved from Hawaii it was amazing to find ALOHA in the middle of the mainland US. The owners were working their okoles off and the food was everything I hoped it to be. I had the spam katsu and kimchi ramen. It was everything I would hope it to be.

Best ramen I’ve found anywhere near Madison and Huntsville. The veggie ramen is vegan which is awesome. The owners are friendly and the atmosphere is nice. So happy this place is close!

I am a total snob when it comes to ramen. Not an expert, just a snob. If it's not good the first time, I won't ever go back. Which is a problem for me, because I love ramen, and I have never eaten a bowl of ramen in North Alabama that I would eat again. Until today, when I found Aloha. Their broth isn't some dramatic flavor explosion that's meant to take the top of your head off, nor the bland watery nothingness that you find sometimes. It's right in the middle, well made with simple, delicious flavors and no unnecessary fluff. The noodles were cooked perfectly and just the right thickness for slurping. It might have needed a pinch of salt, but I'm also a salt junkie, and a splash of soy sauce fixed it right up. The owners were friendly and delightful, the interior was clean and comfortable, also without unnecessary fluff, and the food was served hot and fast. Nothing kitchy, nothing catchy, just good food. Oh, and they serve complimentary fresh tea if you dine in. I have finally found ramen worth eating twice, and I'll be going back for my next bowl very soon!

This is a nice little place to get ramen or curry. The owner was very friendly. The atmosphere is nice and chill. Very clean. The menu is simple and not cluttered. They even have a picture book of the meals so you know exactly what you are going to get. They also provide free water and tea.I got a bowl of the beef stew curry and it was so good! Hit the curry spot!I also got a side of their house made kimchi. Very good! My partner got Spam Katsu with curry rice and said it was done perfectly. All in all, a good experience. Can't wait to come back and try the ramen.

Really cute place! Super friendly staff, great food. We got spicy tonkasu ramen, chicken katsu curry, and calamari. Flavors are balanced really well and food came out quick! Our new favorite ramen spot in Madison!

We had a wonderful experience and my son deemed it his new favorite restaurant! The owners are lovely and welcoming. I we shared the katsu shrimp appetizer, which came out fresh and crispy. Our ramen was excellent. My son had the shoyu and I had the kimchi ramen! Will definitely be returning to try more of their menu.Kid-friendliness: My 9 year old loved it. Says it’s his new favorite restaurant!

Very cute homey place. I got the kimchi ramen, with croquettes for an appetizer. Both were delicious! There was complimentary oolong tea, too, that was great. Will definitely be coming back.

We tried this place for the first time on Sunday and have already ordered two more times since then! The owners are so sweet and generous from their complimentary tea to the portion sizes. They definitely have some of the best Katsu around Huntsville as well and I highly recommend the Chicken Katsu Curry!
