I used them for catering, and they were great! I highly recommend! They were very flexible, and the food was yummy. Everyone was friendly and the set-up they provided was very helpful.

Don’t judge by my half eaten nacho picture - they were much more beautiful before I dug in! Pulled pork has a delicious Smokey BBQ flavor and the sweet tea will make your teeth chatter in a good way! Located in Stovehouse, with indoor and outdoor seating, the location is perfect for an outing.

Bark and Barrel Catering is incredible! The food was delicious, the service was smooth, and their team was kind and professional throughout the event. They were so loved, our corporate clients booked them again before the event was over. They handled everything with ease, even in the face of unexpected rain. The menu was unique and delicious. Highly recommend for any gathering! - Touronimo Destination Management

Sides are great! Mac and cheese is delicious. Pork was okay.. the potato salad is from a different planet but not in a good way.

Got the Cajun sausage plate and was very disappointed with the portions. It came with one sausage link 🥺 flavor was good though.

$17 for a brisket sandwich and a water. I’m glad I had the water because the brisket was like eating toothpicks. No smoke ring or color to the brisket and the fat wasn’t even close to beginning to be rendered. Did they cook it in the microwave? Maybe. But then again, if it was microwaved it would’ve been warm. Bun was untoasted and soggy as well. The only points I’ll give them is that their spicy barbecue sauce was tolerable and the pickles were okay. Whatever the Alabama white sauce was (think In-n-Out special sauce) didn’t belong anywhere near brisket.
Employee was friendly but didn’t know was was in the Alabama white sauce.

first (and last) time with B&B at stovehouse. Ordered the nachos with meat, onions, etc. asked if jalepenos could be added on the side, order taker said yes. pic shows what we got: nachos, some sauce, a glop of sour creme. 2 of the 3 workers were in slow motion and probably couldn't even make the cut at mcdonalds.

Very generous portions and excellent service. I was a little disappointed because the brisket and pulled pork did not hold the smoked flavor that I remembered from the first time I ate here. Both meats were rather bland. I ended up using some of their add-on barbecue sauce. The potato salad and baked beans were fantastic!

We ordered our food and waited for our number. I saw a guy coming to the door and figured he was going to tell me our food was ready. Instead he looked right at me and locked the door. I went up to the door confused to see our food on the counter. They were just going to close up and not ever give us our food. On top of that the food was super small portion sizes for the price.

Restaurantji Recommends
I do not recommend this restaurant. The small BBQ pork sandwich was terrible with poor flavor, dry, big chunks of burnt edge pieces and chunks of fat. Poor value. The loaded nachos had the same fatty and burnt edge and lack of flavor. I ordered mine without the red onions or red sauce. So it was chips, cheese, pork BBQ and fresh jalapenos. Staff was nice. I won't eat here again. We threw out our food and went to El cazador.

Stopped here for a late lunch and decided to try several things. We each got a combo plate with two sides, plus an order of Cajun sausage and a Smoked Chocolate Chip cookie. I had brisket and smoked chicken, and they were pretty good. They were a little dry, but the flavor was good. The potato salad and mac and cheese were both tasty as well. My hubby had the brisket and the pulled pork, along with mac and cheese and baked beans. He liked everything. The chocolate chip cookie was average, and neither of us tasted any smoke flavor in it. The service was awesome...and the employee even brought our food out to us in the patio area when it was ready. Very friendly and helpful and made it a great experience for us. For 2 combo plates, an order of sausage, 1 cookie and two iced teas, our bill came to $69 plus tip.....so it was definitely more expensive than a typical bbq joint, but the atmosphere made a fun meal.

Their brisket is absolutely the best! Juicy, not too salty! And we love their potato salad. Will definitely be loyal customers. I know they have great nachos and their loaded (brisket) potatoes are amazing! Also, great cookies! The only let down was the pimento cheese: had no flavor and was too dry. But we will be definitely back for our favorites (though we preferred the Madison location with a drive-through window.)

The food was pretty good overall but the price in comparison is not valid. 27 dollars for a small portion of meat with 2 sides is wild!
