We got blizzards to go and didn’t have to wait long. They were really nice, the blizzards were amazing, and the place was clean.

This review is for the lady that decorates the cakes, she is AMAZING!!! I ordered a Barbie cake for my niece and OMG IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL!! She was seriously sooo happy and everyone, including the guys really complimented this cake. I would like for her to get recognized, my name is on the order she took and she is absolutely the sweetest and obviously so talented!

Don't accidently place an online order and try to cancel it immediately! Not only will they not stop the order, they will lie and say you came to pick it up. I wanted to schedule an order for later, called as soon as the order went through and they called back saying someone picked my order up while I was still at work. Why was the food made when they said they would stop the order? Extremely unprofessional.

I ate here today for the first time in years, and I must say it was top tier for a Dairy Queen. The food was fresh, and even though I asked for no onions and they put them on anyway, it's still a 9 out of 10.

Odd thing to be upset about... But this was our special treats..
My husband and I have had an unhealthy addiction to blizzards recently. Lol. This location has been our go to place. Initially it was fine. However, over the last month or so it has become very bad.
Customer service is a joke. They simply don't care about their customers.
We pay for extra toppings. I prefer oreo. Pay for double.... Get half a blizzard that has absolutely nothing in it. Just ice-cream.
Tonight was the final straw....
They hadn't kept the machine full so my hubby was asked to pull forward while they waited for the ice-cream to thicken. Mine came out only half solid.... Not even milkshake thick.
His was with a lid on top and dripping all over the place. The girl simply handed it to him and walked away laughing. She wouldn't return when he called for her. He just left. Got home and it literally exploded when he put it on the counter.
I think this is a sign that we are done with blizzards. And definitely done with this location when we do want to grab one.
Just very disappointing.

The ice cream has always been great here, but whoever the new guy is that's managing the place has been outstanding. He cares about service, and it shows.
The service was never bad before, but it's actually excellent now!

It was okay. They forgot to put my dressing with my salad. I guess they don't have sauces already in cups so you get a small container they fill up themselves. It's okay i guess but, wasn't the best experience. I still love the ice cream. Food just isn't as good as I remember. Also tried to park in the shade far away where no one would normally park and of close someone had to come squeeze by me smh

Food is great. But every singlw time I’ve ordered a blizzard here, it’s either been the wrong ice cream, or all ice cream and no toppings. I’d rather buy legitimate ice cream from the grocery store… it would have more Oreos or snickers, etc in it for less of the price.

Location always serves freah hot food. Usually no wait time. Staff is friendly and they bring your order to table his name was neel he did fantastic job I got the blizzards too and it was amazing 🤩
Just picked up a combo meal and everything tasted warmed up and part of the meal was inedible
This might be the more modern location in Madison, but if you love a good blizzard, go to the other location. We used to go every week for blizzards and got repeatedly shorted on candy pieces. We complained after getting barely anything mixed in a couple of times. They told us we could ask and pay for extra pieces, which we started doing - still barely anything in the blizzards. So that ended our trips there. The other location on 72 makes fantastic blizzards and you don’t have to ask or pay for anything extra.
When I pulled up to place my order, I was initially greeted, which I appreciated. I let the staff member know that it would take me a minute to decide. However, when I was finally ready and began listing my items, he repeatedly cut me off after each one by saying, “Okay, that’ll be all?,” instead of allowing me to finish placing my full order. This made the process feel rushed and frustrating; we ended up talking over each other unnecessarily, and the whole interaction felt tense and awkward because of it.
To make matters worse, he was hard to understand, and when I pulled up to the window, he wasn’t welcoming at all. It felt more like a cold, awkward standoff between two strangers than a typical service interaction. There was no warmth, no confirmation of the order, and no basic customer courtesy.
It wasn’t until after I drove away that I realized I never received my change, even though it was under two dollars, the fact that he never acknowledged or attempted to hand it to me at all is problematic and unprofessional.
All in all, the experience left me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed. A little patience, better communication, and basic courtesy would’ve gone a long way.
