At 5:05 I ordered pizza through the app so it would be ready when we arrived because my three year old isn’t great at waiting. The order said it would be ready at 5:25, we arrived at 5:30 and it was not ready. I asked them at 5:45 where our order was in the queue and they told me they must have missed the ticket or gave it away. We didn’t receive our pizza until 6pm. This made for a very difficult toddler. They gave us soda and chips but I’d prefer they get their order system right. I have had this happen a couple times to me now - seems to be a pattern.

The service was fantastic the young lady at the front counter was very helpful. It was our first time trying this place. The wings were amazing (get them put in the oven twice)! The pizza was decent. Loved the thin crust. I would like to try more from the menu one day.

The calzotas are good. Fair priced.

The very veggie pizza is full of good sized pieces of veggies. The sausage and pepperoni 🍕 is really good too! Must try them out!!

"EXTREMELY PLEASED!"
On Friday, December 27, 2024, I decided to try a pizza at Donatos Pizza in Madison, Alabama. That was my first visit there.

When I entered the restaurant, I was surprised to find that there were no huge menus hanging at or behind the order desk. But, when I approached it, there was a small menu there ... and a large sign with instructions to scan the very large barcode for a menu (if you preferred).

The restaurant's decor was modern, minimal, and spacious (for a fairly small restaurant). It was clean, and the staff were very polite and attentive.

After an initial minor blip, I received my pizza in a timely fashion.

That night, I chose to order their "Serious Meats" pizza, which is topped with pepperoni, sausage, shaved ham, ground beef, hardwood smoked bacon, smoked Provolone cheese, and Romano cheese. And, I requested it in a medium size, with a thin crust.

Overall, I was EXTREMELY PLEASED with my first experience at Donatos in Madison. The pizza was DELICIOUS!

I'll start by saying the pizza was really good. The customer service needs work. The woman who took my order over the phone was not personable. I would suggest that she should work on her customer service skills. She wasn't rude, however, not polite. No thank yous, not a friendly voice, short and just to the point. Same, experience when I went in to pick up my pizzas. Just saying...the least you can do to be in this specific position is to be pleasant n somewhat friendly. You do work with the public

Just was in traffic for over an hour , and asked for the food to be remade . Xander and the cook were very nice , very helpful and even gave us a treat! Thank you so much!

I don't know much about the pizza because when I I ordered a large pizza with 3 toppings and extra cheese it was 35.20 and that was take out. BUT THE SANDWICHES ARE

Slow as molasses. Had to wait 30 minutes for a pizza and wings after I called it in and drove to get it.

My first but definitely not the last time i order from Donatos. I had a thin crust mariachi beef pizza and it was amazing. Thanks for the pizza and excellent service guys!
