It was a no for me I ordered a pork chop plate,3 wings and fries and side a of neckbones….the pork chops and chicken was very salty and the neckbones was old like cooked days ago old more or like they just warmed them up …the fried okra was good but for my first time I was expecting better…I got there almost 40 minutes after they opened

My first time here in Huntsville an I had to stop by E & N….we was greeted with a warm welcome an we felt at home with the southern hospitality…as you can see I ordered the catfish w/ Mac n cheese, baked beans & yams….this food was delicious…we sat outside on the patio an ate good while watching family fued….great customer service all around the bored…I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu….

I’m 48 years old and I just ate the best fried pork chops of my life. The Mac and Cheese is amazing and you wouldn’t think you could do a bunch to mashed potatoes but oh boy are they good.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem. I ordered the fried fish and hubby had the whole wings... both were very good and seasoned very well. The sides were also quite good. The waitress was awesome and we were serenaded while waiting for our food by both the waitress and the chef in the back. You can tell they enjoyed their job... they were singing and having a blast.

The food wasn't all that good to me! My yams were blocky! The greens had no meat or flavor and the shrimp had a bland taste. Not to mention, it stunk so bad when I walked in and they were just opening! How does it smell that bad and they just opened up? The people are nice but I'll pass on the food and the smell in there.

Food was hot fresh and delicious, some things cannot be cooked when ordered but those that can be are and ALL of the food was hot, tasty and fresh.
My sister and I were quite pleased with our choices.
Nathaniel and his wife run this family- friendly, Sunday Soul Food place...they are a wonderful team who take care of food business and truly care about the community.
When in the Huntsville area we will make the short drive to Triana (Madison) to the E & N Diner...well worth the drive.
Food and atmosphere are always wonderful here. And the desserts are just like mom used to make.

All l can say is they don’t make soul food like they use to. I ordered oxtails and they were mostly fat. I barely had any meat on them. I guess I’m used to Jamaican oxtails because these had absolutely no seasoning. I’m too sad.
