visited March 2024Frida's is on par with other Mexican food places in town. Their salsa is above average, their margaritas are tasty, and their portions are large. Their fajitas were better than average, and everything was clean and well organized. Would go again.

Consistently good food, very fair pricing, and a kind staff. Perfect for a casual meal and/or margaritas with friends.

Frida’s has always been our go to for take out. It’s close and small and we like that. I usually call the order in and can barely get there before it is ready. I ordered online this time as they have made their phone # hard to find and “order online” pops up first on their site so I figured that’s the direction they are going. Got the order confirmation and again, it was to be ready before I can even get there. I get in the car and arrive and the hostess after looking for my order (which apparently was NOT ready) tells me it will be 5 minutes. They obviously did not see my order and did not have it ready although the table beside the register was full of online orders…just not mine. I sit down and wait for the 5 minutes, although it wasn’t 5…it was 20. A manager type looking gentleman walks by and says “it’ll be just a minute” And I wait. And wait. NO apologies, no compensation…and there were 4 other tables being served during this time. She finally brings it. Food was good as usual. Just too much competition for this to happen. I will give them another chance…stay tuned

Over all food was great. The queso was runny. Needs to be thicker.

Ehhhh... Nothing special here. Food was good and service mediocre/questionable. I arrived and stood at the entrance for about 5 minutes before anybody came over to seat me. There were about ~ 5 or 6 other patrons so the place was not super busy. After observing ~ 4 or 6 employees running around I made eye contact with one and he takes me to my seat. I ordered a small draft and he scurries away... Chips come and they were lukewarm at best. I asked for a hotter sauce because I had eaten it at their food truck. The hotter sauce was, ummm not right, as it had a fishy taste to it... not the end of the world. Still no beer... I ordered the beef enchilada, and asked about the draft beer... A few minutes pass and the beer arrives, nice and cold. Must have been brought in directly from Mexico. As an aside the table next to me ordered a pitcher of margaritas and they too were coming for Mexico, as they had to ask for it a few times… serious disconnect somewhere. Food arrives and the presentation is nice, the food is hot and tasty, but nothing special that would make this place a 'go to destination.' The physical atmosphere is nice and clean with the typical Mexican accoutrements hanging from the ceiling and walls. Check out was a speachless transaction. I handed the man my bill, he entered it, I inserted my card and viola! Not a, did you enjoy your meal, thank you or nothing. As soon as the transaction was done he turned and went to a table to fiddle with something. Really? Cool guy tip Mr. Cashier, you're not the only place in town... I think I’ll stick to the limited menu on their food truck. IMHO this a once and done place. Enjoy. Your results may vary.

Carnitas was awesome, Margs were strong, beer was served with a frozen mug without question. Place is legit, a group of Mexicans walked in right behind us.

Nothing wrong with it but I prefer some of the food from some other Mexican restaurants in town a bit better. Thick chips.

My bestie and I came here and the food was very delicious but the customer service was horrible. We called and asked about Apple Pay before arriving and they said yes it works but when it was time to pay the lady at the register said it doesn’t work then the wifi went out and she still didn’t know how to work the equipment to check us out. Not too many of the employees can speak enough English to have a full on conversation with you. If you’re a lightweight person and don’t like strong Margaritas then don’t order them here. If you do, this is the place. But we don’t.

The gist of it: Music loud with horrible singing.Food takes awhile (nothing crazy long but significant) to deliver.Food is drenched with seasoning. You're eating more seasoning then food.I went into the store and was seated quite quickly. Firstly I noticed the flimsy paper menus, I started to work on figuring out my order but the belching music disrupted my focus. I thought, "Who the heck actually listens to these dudes literally screaming and straining their voice?" I decided on my order for dinner, my first real meal today. I waited. And waited. It probably took about fifteen minutes in a low crowd environment. Not bad but also not good. Then, came the long awaited food to satiate my hunger. I took a bite of it and I coughed, I couldn't stop coughing, the food was buried in seasoning. Way too much salt, and way too much pepper. I got fish, it was drenched with some type of sauce. The food was... edible... that is if edible is forcing myself to eat it through coughing. I didn't ended up eating. If you like that type of music, and you like overwhelming seasoned mexican food, then this place is for you. Otherwise, find somewhere else to go.

What a ruined experience, just received the offer. Meet in tacos is dry. Flauta dinner soaked in salad water. 2 lime slices for 8 tacos. 2 sauces for 8 tacos. Tacos piled up in box, mixed up. Had high hopes, but whoever fixed the order tonight didn't care to say the least, just ignorant of who will eat it or not in this case! $70+ and 2 orders also missing Burrito Fajitas and grilled chicken buritto. What a shame!

The food was tasteless except the salty guacamole and the queso was the consistency of milk.
