The lunch buffet that starts at 11am every weekday is awesome! The service is the absolute best also. I eat lunch here at least once a week. You can't beat all you can eat with a drink for $15.

She was duly impressed with the flavor of the seasoning and the quantity.I had the 3 Amigos. Seasoned rice with chicken, beef and shrimp. All of this topped with a cheezy sauce.Liked it so much that ...We are going to reroute so we can eat here on the way home!Servers were excellent without being oppressive!Great place

Although the name indicates MEZCAL the food is good, I had the Taco Salad, with chicken grilled and sauced. Their is no buffet but their are giant lime Margaritas in beer mugs, great going!

Food was awesome! Had the buffet. My only suggestion is that the buffet be moved to a more convenient location in the Restaurant with more room to move around instead of being in the back corner.

This great restaurant has changed hands, and is now El Mezcal Bar and Grill. The new owner seems very pleasant, and the cooks are reported to be the same. The food tasted every bit as good as it has been. Not sure what prompted Carlos to make a big change, but this is still a really good eatin' spot. We miss you, though, Carlos, please be well!
I've stopped here on and off for years, and the best reason I can explain is that their spices and flavors are unique from most other Mexican restaurants. And, their wait staff is always pleasurable and friendly.

Everyone in my family has been going here since 2015 when we al moved to alabama from California. This restaurant has a great atmosphere with excellent service. The food is always served hot and it’s delicious, authentic Mexican food. Chille relleno is my fave because I love cheese. Used to get the chimichanga a lot or a combo plate with a variety of items. Also love the pollo asada plate - it’s chicken with an amazing red sauce and rice beans, yum! Fajitas come out sizzling and hooked up on portions with every plate.

Amazing food for such great prices, every time I get togo from here I am amazed at the urgency to get my food out. I’m talking 10 mins for togos!! They also have some beautiful plants to admire while you wait!!
