I went here for the first time on Friday for a lunch meeting. I was so impressed by the food that the next day I drove 30 minutes just to have lunch at the same place. The first time I got a spicy bulgogi lunch box and today I switched the protein. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

If you look around Madison and complain that we only have chain restaurants, look no further. Haru is as family owned as it gets. The food is fantastic. I've almost had every item on the menu and would order anything a second time. No, they do not have sushi, but the Korean food makes it worth the time. The food here is made with care and compassion. I've probably been here 50 plus times and every time I go, I am excited for the meal I am about to get. This is truly a gem of Madison.Go try it. Do it. It's only lunch. Do it. Be adventurous. It's really good.

The food was great! We got the Bento boxes, spicy pork and the bulgogi. We also got dumplings as an appetizer. It was all fantastic!

Was excited to try this today, but they closed down the kitchen 30 minutes early. They're only open for 3 hours, so I don't see how it could be profitable to stop selling food even

Haru is one of the local gems that will often go unnoticed because of its location or its unassuming looks when you first go in. However, behind this place's humble visuals is one of the most authentic experiences you can have outside of the US. Let's start with my intro on the looks and humble visuals... there is nothing fancy about the space or seating/table, but it is clean/immaculate and very thoughtful about spacing between tables. Other than that, it's clean and functional and very thoughtful as to how it is laid out. The staff is primarily related to the owners of the place (at least when I was there). They are attentive, fast, and efficient at taking your order and getting anything else you want or could need. They are friendly and want you to be comfortable with any dishes you order if you are not familiar with their cuisine. The food is authentic and traditional, and superbly executed. It comes in fairly large serving sizes, but I've never had anything quite like it here in the US. It was perfect in every way I could imagine, whether it was the spicy kimchi pancake, the pickles that accompanied our dishes, or the bibimbap in traditional stoneware that was presented to us. Are we talking about a fancy meal here? Not in the sense of it being white tablecloth or paying through the nose for a decent meal. Is it an excellent meal for an absolutely phenomenal price? ABSOLUTELY!!! I would direct anyone that has a love (or interest) for Korean cuisine to make their way to Haru and allow the experience to wrap them in warmth and comfort, because that is what I felt when I was there and as I departed for the airport to leave Huntsville.

I’ve had a ridiculous amount of Korean food in my life and this place is hands down the best in the Huntsville/Madison area. The spicy pork is up there with some of the best I’ve had. I’ve been going for years and they always give me extra meat since the only side I want is kimchi. I highly recommend it! I wish they were still open for dinner, but I understand.

Sincerely the best Korean restaurant in the Huntsville area. All the dishes are amazing, and staff is great. Come for the dumplings, stay for all the great sides.

Portions were small for the price. Japchae was not flavorful. Their tofu soup was quite watery, if you had good Korean food before this place is a step down.

Worst service I ever got. Didn’t try the food because I have to leave after they rudely throw 2 menus in front of me, my pregnant wife and mother in law without any words. Also they only told me “wait” after we went in and stand for about 10 minutes. I’m pretty sure the waiter know more words than “wait” because I saw her fawn on another group of American customers. We finally went to I Love Korean for lunch.

It’s very good place to enjoy Korean food easily. And cost performance is good.
