The ribs are good,didn't like the fries they were like eating potatoes sticks the macaroni needed to be cooked more it was hard🤢 not worth the price 🤑

So, I’ve been to J Alexander in Bham well over a decade ago. It used to be my favorite restaurant. I always get the roasted chicken. Well tonight I’m leaving my nail appointment and stopped by the one in Madison. The bartenders were very nice However, my roasted chicken was bleeding. I immediately felt like I was going to throw up. I was so disgusted because I ate quite a bit, then I hit the bone and blood came out. I had the queso dip as well and it was delicious. I’m assuming it was the GM, he came out and took off the Queso and chicken and I only paid for my drink. I couldn’t even finish it because I became nauseated and had to leave. I’m very disappointed and did not expect this experience AT ALL.

My wife and I were very, very pleased with every aspect of our dining, from the delicious food to our AWESOME waiter Sir Moody! Believe me, he was not moody! Excellent waiter by far! We will request to be seated in his section again on our next visit.
