Was hoping for more since it was so highly rated but it was just okay. The place felt old school, or just old. Service was great but the food fell flat. Calamari was chewy, bread was overly dense, sea bass was overcooked, asparagus was tough, and I'm pretty sure those potatoes came out of a box in powder form. The lemon sauce was pleasant though. Likely will not be back here, food did not feel fresh and the price to quality ratio is just not there for me.

Eman helped me get with my boyfriend on our first date. Dining at Luigi’s Italian Grill was easily one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time, and that’s entirely thanks to my incredible server, Eman. From the moment I walked in, Eman made sure everything was perfect—greeting me with a warm smile, seating me promptly, and walking me through the menu like a true pro. His knowledge of the dishes, from the house-made pasta to the specials of the day, was impressive, and every recommendation he gave was spot-on. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely seems to care about the guest experience the way Eman does.

Throughout the meal, Eman checked in at just the right moments—not too much, not too little—and made sure our table had everything we needed without us ever having to ask. He kept drinks filled, plates cleared, and the vibe upbeat and welcoming the entire time. You could tell he takes pride in his work, and it made the night that much more enjoyable. If you’re ever at Luigi’s, do yourself a favor and ask for Eman—his service is truly next level.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, I was feeling homesick with Little Italy’s Fest coming up. Then we found Luigi’s. Holy cannoli! From the beautiful decor and fantastic music, to the totally delicious food! Heaven! I live An hour away from here! Please put one in at least Athens, Al which is closer to me! I need this at least one a month!

Everything was absolutely delicious! I enjoyed the shrimp tortellini with a creamy marinara. It was the best I’ve ever had. I even had enough leftovers to take home for another meal. The cannoli was the perfect end cap to a fantastic meal. The atmosphere was pleasant. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The food wait time was minimal, and the handmade garlic rolls were a great start.
