I purchased chitterlings, turnip greens, Mac and cheese, yams, red velvet cake and a can soda. The chitterlings weren’t to my liking, turnip greens were delicious, yams were not to my liking, red velvet cake was moist and perfectly made (my son ate most of it and he doesn’t like anything to be honest). Mac and cheese I didn’t get a chance to taste as they were left out but owner was nice to fix that and I will back to try other items on her menu. *Owner has great customer service skills which is the only reason I’m returning.* I love when you’re a consumer and you’re treated with dignity and respect!

The experience of P and G was phenomenal. Didn’t want to cook and my hubby didn’t want to go out for Father’s Day so we decided to try this place on short notice. First the chicken and dressing… I thought my dressing was fire but this dressing reminded me of my Mom’s, my hubby loved the ribs and Mac and Cheese and lastly the red velvet cake was everything. We’re going back!

In my opinion, this is some of the best food I've had from any restaurant in the area. I had the rib plate with Mac n cheese, & fried pickles. If you love fried pickles, THIS IS THE SPOT! They were crunchy, sour, spicy & absolutely delicious ? I will be back!

Excellent presentation, didn't expect. Food was delicious. Gotta give the chitterlings a try to determine more.and I'll be trying them this week....but this soul food experience was great! Actual smoked bbq ... honestly smoked.. not like many around here who bake...

Just the idea of being told 10-15 mins then realizing it’s been 42 while waiting in the car with two children just frustrated me. Got my refund and owner wasn’t even apologetic. Really didn’t seem to care. I really wanted to give this place a try for the first time but customer service means a lot more to me!

I only come in once or twice a year and my mother told me about the burgers. We ordered the burger plates, 4 children’s and 5 adults, and 2 large sides of Mac. There was a little wait, but considering the amount of meals we had, it wasn’t as long as you would expect. Let me tell you… 1. The portion size was phenomenal (we had leftovers) 2. The burger was cooked to perfection. Well done but still juicy (nowhere near dried out like you find at a lot of places. 3. The Mac looked and tasted homemade, I should have ordered more for the kids! 4. The ladies there were amazingly nice. I am from the true south and that is Something you just don’t find very often anymore. I, actually, have nothing negative to say about the staff or the food. Next time I come in, I will definitely be stopping again. This food was well worth it. I wish I had taken pics before we started eating because it was amazingly presented. THANK YOU P&G FOR AN AMAZING DINNER!!!

I had the Brisket plate with Fried Okra and Hush puppies.Excellent work with the brisket, lotta flavor and juiciness,Hushpuppies we're great as well, just the right balance,Okra was awesome but I was too full to finish.99 Health rating and a very nice mother daughter team behind the counter, give this place a try!
The food here is good. They've got a couple of smokers that you can see from the road, can't miss it. I had the brisket and was very happy with it.
