Upscale but loud. Would be romantic if you could hold a conversation without shouting. Service was friendly but slow, food was slow as well.
Biscuits are good, preserves was tasty. Prime rib was small, overcooked, and slightly tough. There was no crust and the flavor was mild. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't anything that stood out. Smoked gouda mac n cheese was pretty good, crumb top was good, could have been smokier. All the versions of the potatoes were delicious.
This place is great. A definite yes, for a visit. Everything we had was delicious. Our service was great, we had Edward taking care of us. Everything Edward did and recommended was spot on. They have an amazing staff. Very welcoming and polite. Their menu is great and their chef is top shelf. Some of the best food I've ever eaten.
People, family, whatever you would like to be called! Stoney River is one of my favorite places to visit and to have dinner. Every time we’re in Huntsville.
We will be there soon. The salmon, the crab patty, the cream corn, The Steaks yummy!! For the Salad eaters they got you too. Check out Stoney River it’s worth it. We spent $175 for 5 people, I’ve had lunch, brunch and dinner.
We made reservations.
These pictures doesn’t do it justice.
The ribeye, crab cakes, and filet were very flavorful. Ordered the steaks Medium Rare and they actually served them medium rare! The Mac and cheese was exceptional!
Service is friendly and accommodating. My meal was prepared to perfection and served while hot. The portions were generous and our server happily packed up the leftovers for me. I highly recommend this restaurant for a quality meal and excellent service.
I've been to this restaurant several times, and I can confidently say the food is really good; especially the lobster bisque, which is hands down the best you'll find in the area. The service during dinner hours is also excellent; attentive, professional, and timely. After trying it at different times of day, I’ve learned that dinner is definitely the best time to go. Earlier in the day, the food and service don’t quite meet the same standard.
It is on the pricey side, but in this case, you get what you pay for. Quality ingredients, great flavors, and a pleasant dining experience make it worth the splurge.
One thing to note: they charge a 3% development fee. Personally, I find this a bit questionable,it feels like an unnecessary charge, but I’ve learned it's a standard fee at businesses affiliated with Breland Companies. While it’s legal, it still feels like a nuisance. That said, if you can overlook that minor frustration, the experience is definitely worth it.
I had the crab cakes and mac and cheese. It was delicious, the waitress was great! I will be back👍
I am not sure what to say about this place, I know they are considered a steakhouse but if my favorite dish from this place was the corn 🌽 and I ordered a 🥩 that say a lot about my meal. In terms of ordering a steak here…I would rather have steak from the follow places first Connors, Tom Brown, Texas Roadhouse, Lone Star Steakhouse (Decatur), and Steakout in that order before I order another steak from here. The service was okay, but one time was enough for me. I personally would rather go other places, but the corn was amazing.
