Had a brunch reservation for 12, they didn’t let us in until 12:30. The “all you can eat buffet” was served on napkins? GHETTO!!! Bottle girls was not bottling… it was a mess. They sat us in a tent in the parking lot with no fans, just hot and sweaty eating out a napkin… Very unprofessional and we were not compensated for the time we lost due to them not being ready. DONT DO IT BOO!

I actually only ever came here because this guy rented a tent for an event from my company. just the owner as a person gets a 5 of 5☆. Super cool guy. Very likeable. Obviously checking the place out came organically from doing the job. Yet, objectively it's totally worth the visit. You go once you'll go a second time.

I’ve heard good things about this place before I went but had the absolute worst experience! The seating inside resembles a lounge with tables too low to eat on. We waited way too long for everyone to get their food, 2 hours in total! When placing our orders for brunch, we were told that the only side they had were fries, not even eggs that were actually listed on the menu. Also, 2 of the 5-6 items listed on the brunch menu weren’t available as well as a whole other side of the menu. We had to pay before receiving our food which I’m now convinced is done to get you to stay. We also got a pitcher of mimosas because the $2 mimosas they posted online were only available from 12-2 pm even though it stated 12-4 pm. When we tried to order more, they were out of champagne. As empty as the restaurant was, it took more than 30 minutes to get our first plate which was chicken and waffles. The chicken was VERY dark as if the grease was old or burned and each of the 3 other plates after took at least 20 minutes to come out. None of us got to eat together! I myself ordered the fish and grits. The grits were bland, the fish was too salty, and the Cajun sauce didn’t have a taste at all. I was way too excited to come here just to be let down by the owner who was supposedly the cook. Will never come back!!!!

SZND is a nice place to vibe to good music, food, drinks and hookah if you don’t want to be in the club atmosphere. This was my 2nd time visiting. There Fish & Grits were amazing. Wings were great as well. Drinks and hookah were also good. The venue is nice with a chill vibe. Service was okay, could be better if the servers were more tentative to guest.

This is second time I came to this spot and they have overcharging vs what's on their menu.
Food was delicious, however, collard greens were too salty. Could work on seating. Not very conducive to eating.

We had a party of 5. We were seated in the middle. The food was good. The Mac cheese needs some work! Our server was HORRIBLE (Denika) she had the worst attitude from the beginning to the end. She was all over the place. Was getting smart & etc. Everyone was like what’s her problem? I really didn’t understand what was wrong with her. She will definitely ruin y'all establishment. Today my experience was horrible

Staff is always nice, usually sit at the bar, Crystal is always great, checks on you and makes sure your drink is topped off at all times. The food is great, love the oxtail and wings.
First time visiting this place, and while I generally prefer to support black owned businesses over others, I can’t say that I’ll be back. Waitress was newer, apparently this is her 3rd day. Nice young lady, but didn’t have a lot of answers when asked. I only wished she had gathered those answers from someone else more tenured. However, they ran out of the drinks we ordered right after we ordered them (mind you, we arrived when they opened), they ran out of chicken & waffles, and apparently they overcooked the catfish and had to remake it, which added to the already overextended prep time. There was also a $10 booking fee that I suppose included a bottle? But again, there wasn’t enough information provided regarding this. At the time of payment, the check was not shown, only told. And when asked if the reservation fee would be deducted from the meal cost, the response was no. I found this strange, but at that point, I was honestly just ready to leave. My hope is that their service improves as I believe they have potential, but this was incredibly disappointing to say the least.

I wanted to give this place a try due to how pleasant it was described on the website. However, I was truly disappointed. For starters, it’s described as “upscale.” There’s nothing upscale about the location, environment, food or service. I had a reservation. We were offered a bottle that we were told was $20. Later discovered it was $25 for a $9 bottle of champagne. Our orders were taken but, after well over 30 minutes of waiting, we were told the kitchen wasn’t open at the time of our orders being taken. It took an additional 30 minutes to receive food. The server was very polite but that’s about the best thing I experienced. It was empty, people would arrive then leave within minutes. The food was ok at best. After getting the check there was a crazy, unexplained “service fee” on top of suggested tip. What I spent there wasn’t worth the service so I was pretty disappointed. I don’t think I will go back.

Great food and a fun atmosphere. The service was just ok, but the meals were well made and flavorful. They serve upscale bar food along with some southern and Cajun-adjacent dishes. The mimosas were pretty good, and not too sugary.
The location is easy to see and access from the road (corner of 72 and Slaughter), and plenty of parking. Would go again.
