I’ve eaten here three times. All three times the food has been fresh and the service is always good, but the food is just not very good.
I’ve had birria tacos, chicken tacos and a breakfast burrito.

I stopped by Tacos Pow Pow on Old Madison Pike for lunch and tried the Quesabirria. I intended on trying something new, but I always land on the Birria Tacos. They were outstanding. Super fresh and full of flavor. Everything, sides included, tasted homemade. Im a big fan of the self serve kiosks, but there was a nice employee there to take my order or assist if needed. They did tell me there was another location on Wall Triana, which is much closer to my house. Looking forward to visiting that location as well and getting the Burrito(I'm lying, going back to the Quesabirria)

So overall if you live near by and want something close to Mexican food and do some shopping for groceries afterwards then it’s not a bad choice. Food wise it was okay, customer service was good and as for dinning in (environment/atmosphere )well it’s unique since it’s a gas station/ grocery store/ restaurant. I think it has potential since there is a restaurant similar to it just minus the gas station aspect ,which took them a minute to sort it out.

Great little spot if you are in the mood for authentic food. I ordered the scrambled eggs plate -comes with scrambled eggs, black beans, and queso fresco. Side of grilled onions, and a charred jalapeño. Very delicious. -chicken and steak tacos. No dry meat which is a plus. Also delicious. -breakfast burrito: meat, chorizo. I could do without the cheese, but overall delicious.
The owner Marylin is very nice! She gave me a tour of the store. Variety of different options to choose from if you are in the market. Highly recommend trying it out!

Tacos Pow Pow did an amazing job catering our daughter’s birthday party. The food was amazing! Everything was freshly made and was perfectly cooked. The set up and tear down couldn’t have gone any smoother than it did. These guys do an amazing job with everything. Can’t thank the owners and the staff enough for everything they do. If you’re needed anything catered I highly recommend Tacos Pow Pow!

Whenever I’m working in the area I make the excuse to go get my carne asada quesotacos. EVERY time, they are made fresh and DELICIOUS. Today I also had one of their pupusas and I passed way and went to heaven. Love this little place!!! ❤️

Very good tacos for 3$ each. Located right off the main road, easy to get in and out of. Burritos are 12$ and decently sized. Ingredients are fresh. They have a good selection on their menu. So far everything I've tried has been good. No complaints.
