Stopped by Beer Hog Madison for their comedy night and had a great experience all around. The staff was super attentive without being overbearing, the beer was ice cold, and the pricing was right where it should be.
The comedy show itself was fantastic. I think it was Silver lining running the show, and they absolutely delivered. Solid lineup, great energy, and lots of laughs.

Had an awsome time!! Tried as many craft beers as I could they said 64 different flavors 😋 Definitely going back! Was also kid friendly, had a game room, pool tables and indoor bag tossing.

5/25 Update: Went back and had a good time. This place is good for any size group. This place is really great for large groups of friends. There is plenty of space for everyone to hang out. They had free live comedy that I wish was advertised better because there wasn't many people there. I enjoyed it though.
I'm so glad to have a place like this in Madison! Huge beer selection. Great pizza. (It was a lot bigger than I thought!) Prices for food and beer were prices well. (Normal for around here) Service was friendly and quick. I enjoyed the atmosphere. So cool to see what they did with the old library.

This was my first time to go in beer hog. I went up there for a beard competition in Madison the place was a wonderful venue and the service was really really top-notch the food was really good we had wings and we had the pretzels with the dips.
Was the best when it was cheap but now the food is a little over priced. If im paying $18 for 10 wings I’ll go somewhere else where I can get fries and a drink with them for less. Beer and atmosphere great just eat before.

Met several friends there for a group dinner. Most of us ordered a bar drink and meal. I have a small appetite, especially dinner and ordered the smoked salmon dip appetizer. It did not taste like smoked salmon at all and may have contained a half tsp of smoked salmon I found in the dip. The rest was maybe sour cream and cream cheese mixed with some herbs. The chips were good, dip not so much. Enjoyed the beer and the company tho and the service was great. Nice huge interior. We love on the other end of the county so probably won’t be a place we visit often.
