This restaurant was recommended by a local in Mentone and it was fabulous. This food was uniquely flavored and is new everyday, in the farm to table concept. The owner/chef is very experienced having opened numerous restaurants in many cities but chose to open his own in Mentone. The shrimp and grits were the best I have ever had, so different from the many others I have had-light and and a different type of flavor. Fresh shrimp arrives twice a week. Failed to photograph the pecan roasted bread pudding-yum, yum, yum.

Shrimp&grits, crab cakes, potato soup, Caesar salad and bread pudding. Crab cakes were outstanding. They were pan seared.

We go to Elevation Bistro often. In addition -
we are vegans. Kevin, who is the owner and the chef, always accommodates us. Kevin personally comes out to each table to introduce himself and check to make sure his guests are happy. It is no wonder that Elevation Bistro was recently named one of the top restaurants in Alabama!

Food is outstanding. The chef locally sources ingredients and lists suppliers on the menu and the foods are so flavorful. A gem not to be missed!

We were visiting the area and had made reservations without much knowledge about this little gem. The ambience is cozy with limited seating which is what we love - outdoor seating is available during season. The staff is personable and we had the pleasure of getting to know the owner, Kevin. Food is farm to table with fresh ingredients - they serve some very creative appetizers and dishes, but you can also try the 1/2 burger or the local fish dish. Cocktails were tasty and refreshing. We both had the Steak Au Poivre medallions immersed in the most delicious sauce accompanied by crunchy potatoes with a side of creme fraiche. Overall, it was exactly what we were hoping for to celebrate our birthdays!!

I made the reservation weeks ahead of time to explain to them— It was my husband‘s birthday, a day B4 a girl called me and I asked her can we please make it special for my husband‘s birthday. They put us on a teeny tiny table that was not even large enough to have a dinner and they sat by a very loud six top table. They were so loud we couldn't even carry on a conversation.. When we were asked to move we had to find our own table . Upon checkout.,, They still were not really paying attention to us so they slid the wrong card for somebody else's dinner and currently my card is still showing that I paid for somebody else's dinner with no credits on my card yet they ran my card four times until the point where the card was locked—— no, not a very good experience! Sad actually— left us feeling very exhausted & embarrassed for their mistakes.

Elevation is one of the finest restaurants in north Alabama. If they have Bread Pudding on the dessert menu - get it. Might be the best thing you’ve ever put in your mouth!

Farm to table. Creative chef who cares about your experience and wants your opinion. Dedicated staff is all in.

The atmosphere and service were excellent as was the grouper entrée. The caprese appetizer, strangely, was served without balsamic, but was 'ok" . Coffee was terrible. Dessert mediocre.

My husband and I enjoyed our date night at Elevation Bistro, a cozy restaurant with an attentive and knowledgeable staff. The chef came out to greet us and tell us a little about what we ordered. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was beautifully plated, and every bite was an ensemble of delightful flavors! We will definitely return for another special occasion.
