My husband and I had dinner at the Moon Lake Kitchen recently while in Mentone for our anniversary and we were both very impressed with the food and the service.
It was a quieter night (they were not busy) and they treated us like royalty. The redfish was perfectly prepared. We loved the Voo Doo Eggrolls. The Moon Lake Kitchen restaurant is a hidden gem! It’s within the Mentone Moon Lake School’s campus and you and enter at the colorful fence or park at the school and navigate through the school grounds. We had a late dinner and the food was excellent and the service was wonderful. This is a surprising little place that was upscale at a decent price. The meal was creative and their menu changes to incorporate fresh, seasonal produce or available, quality seafood or meat.
