Adorable setting right in the heart of Mentone, AL. Yummy treats and everyone was happy except for one person who has allergies and requested a banana with hot fudge. The man literally said no they couldn’t do that or wouldn’t do that. They have bananas and hot fudge but not willing to accommodate someone who can’t have ice cream. Makes no sense and just seems mean. Was willing to pay the full price for two ingredients.

We were at Desoto Falls SP and I was craving something sweet so I googled and found this place. Luckily I had enough cell service to map to it. The business is a little hard to see because it is higher than the road and the business is not well marked but I would suggest making the effort to find it. I ordered the banana split and had a seat while they prepared it. They brought out the biggest banana split I'd ever seen! I worried we would not be able to finish it but not being one to back down from a challenge, we were able to finish! I would suggest you patronize this local establishment. There are several shops in the same area and all the vendors were very nice.

We stopped by here a couple weeks ago for the first time on a long motorcycle ride and found a true hidden GEM !!!!! Not only do you get a huge amazing amount of ice cream , the flavors are many to pick from and at a price that’s the cheapest I’ve ever had these days . We made a special trip today and I live 2 hours away just to make a stop by here and get some Mountain Views right up the street . If you love ice cream at a great price I’d stop by .

Blue Bell ice cream, just like at your grocery store.The setting in that strip of old buildings is really neat to see. Several shops to walk through during the spring and summer months.Worth a stop if you like that sort of thing. We enjoyed it.Free gravel parking lot behind the shops can fill up during peak times.

My husband and I drove by, and saw a couple eating ice cream on a bench, thought that would be nice. Went to the window to order, the older man inside was talking to the lady in front of me, they talked and talked, then he invited her Inside and continued to talk. The man looked right at me but continude to ignore me. Pretty upset as we were leaving the woman with whom he was having such a conversation with was yelling to come back, nope I'm done 15 minutes was more than enough. This was Friday September 29 @around 5:15pm

My son and I tried to eat this thing after having a good dinner. Terrible idea. Could not make it. I don't even like banana splits and this thing is the greatest banana split ever. My son doesn't like them. I will literally drive 15 miles out of the way to go and eat this. Greatest thing ever
