What a treat it was to eat at Wildflower Cafe!!! We were fortunate enough to land reservations on Halloween Night!!! The decor is exactly how you would imagine it to be!!! Quirky, cute, but oh so comfortable!!! Naturally, it was a full night of diners, but it was so nice to be able to still carry on a quiet conversation with my friends! For our meals, we ordered the filets and hamburger steaks and they were fantastic! The prices are all inclusive and a great value when you consider you also get a salad and two great vegetables and an order of rolls is very reasonable as well. Our filets were PERFECT and those who got the hamburger steaks said it was the best they had ever eaten!!! Quite a compliment!!! We came for the layered carrot cake, but we were so full we had to pass on desserts! Next time we'll eat lighter and order desserts!!! The live music was a great touch too! When she started out with "I've got a brand new pair of roller skates" you couldn't ask for a better ending!!! Highly recommend eating here!

Waited 30 minutes for a table ( no issue with that ), Placed our order and got our salad which was verygood. Then we ordered what was called "butterSour dough Bread" which was nothing more than "toast out of a toaster", Then we ordered our meal and it took 39 minutes by the clock for it to come to our table. The alfado I ordered was cold and a scewer of shimp on the side ( which was Ice Cold and had not been cooked at all ) . YES it was raw-uncooked sea food. We told the waitress the food was cold and the shimp was raw. She took it away and then the "owner came to our table and her way of correcting a customer who was served uncooked shrimp was "do you want me to warm it up ". I told her no and she said "well I tried " and walked off. I have eaten in Restaurants all around the world and by far this place was one of the worse. Any respectable owner would have compt the meal. Her response was to "warm it". and give us a free desert ( which i did not order ) a terrible Unacceptable meal experience PERIOD. I would highly recommend to not go to this place-unless you like uncooked sea food and cold food for $77.00

The atmosphere is so cute and the tomato pie is worth the hype! Make reservations. We enjoyed the live music.

This place hits every time. My friend has a tiny home up in Menlo (cricket by the creek-shameless plug) and it has become our tradition to go with our group of friends anytime we stay in the area. The staff is always friendly, the live music is always a good time, and the food is so delicious. I can’t not get the tomato pie. Anytime I try to convince myself to branch out, it never works. I have to get at least a side of it every time, but the meal of the tomato pie with pasta is divine. Shrimp and grits are also a win. Their dessert is also delish. This place is a true Alabama experience. You have to go at least once in your life!

Terrible food, long waits, adorable place, and friendly staff.

Waited 90 minutes for a thoroughly overcooked burger. Had to choke it down by covering it in my kids nacho sauce. Would have sent it back but waiter never came back to check on us.. tomato pie was sorta good but was 90% crust.

Men’s room is missing a stall, so be prepared to wait there too.

Stop by to see the atmosphere then eat somewhere else.

Staff was friendly..

Tried the brunch sampler! Enjoyed the chicken salad and the tomato pie a lot! The crepe texture was a bit weird to me. Atmosphere is great! Cutest little place. Service was quick. Prices are average. Local art for sale.

We planned the start of our trip specifically to coincide with the opening hours of the cafe. Arrived a little before time for meal service so we had the opportunity to look around and speak with the staff and other patrons. The general vibe from other customers was friendly however cannot say the same of the staff. It almost felt like it was a bother to wait on us as we purchased some items from the shop. We ordered the tomato pie based on reviews, it was okay but definitely nothing to rave over. I would never go again.

Dear god, not a place to try new things. The vegetable plate and Mediterranean pasta was our choices. The taste of that cold pasta will stick with you no matter how much colgate you use. The vegetable plate, better than cold pasta thats all I can give it. Nice place with nice people.

The food was delicious. We had the best waitress. They accommodate our group of 10 women very well. We traveled 3 hours just to eat there.

Neat little place that takes you back in time somewhat. My wife had the famous tomato pie and it was different but very good. I had the smothered chicken and I really enjoyed it as well. We also got two pieces of cake. One for there and one to take with us. Parking wasn't bad and the wait wasn't either but I would still highly recommend reservations.
