If you like country cooking, this is a great little place. The staff is full of genuinely friendly, down-home folks. Their breakfast is plentiful and top-notch. A great little hidden gem!
I have eaten there numerous times and have enjoyed the food each time. The service is remarkable. They treat you like they enjoy you being there and you are their only customer. Looking forward to going back soon. I live two and half hours away but it is worth the drive but we do stay overnight just because we enjoy the seafood buffet on Friday night and eat again before we come home.
I'd heard rumors that this place was terrible, but I wanted to see how bad could it be. Overall, it wasn't bad at all. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable. Areas were clean and decorated nicely. The food was the real test, though. The house salad is as simple as it gets, which for me isn't a bad thing. I ordered the ribeye and fried shrimp for my main course and some fried pickles to start. Whoever was the fry cook on duty knew exactly what they were doing....
