Nice little place on Main Street in Montevallo, Alabama. The food was very good and chips were ok and the salsa was very good. The salsa is a little spicy for those that don’t like it spicy be prepared. I had the number 29 the steak had good flavor a little overcooked. The shrimps were perfect loved the seasoning. The refried beans were so amazing. Overall the atmosphere is nice and their drink selection is very nice.

Nothing but great things to say about this place! These people are like family to us, and they have ALWAYS treated us with such respect and love, even before we were close. The food has always been incredible, and so has the service. They are hard workers, and pride themselves in serving their customers well. Great spot to hang out, great friends, great food. Love these guys!

Tasty chili relleno. A bit different than others I've had (I'm from Texas) but good. Generous portions. Friendly staff. Food came out quickly. Fried ice cream is also really tasty! Will be back next time I'm here.

My experience at this place was absolutely horrible! I don’t know what exactly was wrong with my server but he needs to fix his funky attitude. I was coming into town for the college night of 2024 that Montevallo has. Me along with my friends decided to dine at the establishment with the expectation that we would leave with smiles on our faces. I along with my friends were deeply disappointed because we did not in fact leave with smiles. The waiter that we had was an older man. He wore glasses and had slightly grey hair. On this particular night, he was our waiter. We ordered our food but there was a problem. My friend who ordered food didn’t exactly like the way her food tasted. It was too mushy and she had asked for there not to be onions in her meal because she’s allergic. When she got her food and smelled onions, she had politely asked the waiter could he return it. Just the smell of onions ruins her appetite! That’s how bad her allergy is. When trying to explain to the man that she didn’t like the food, he simply brushed her off and proceeded to put the food on the receipt. When we asked him why the food was still on there, he gave us the most diabolical attitude. He had said that where he’s from, even if someone didn’t like the food, they still had to pay for it! The whole table was appalled! I had never heard of such a rule and I knew for sure that this man was simply taking it out on me and my friends because we were black. I have worked in food industry for ten years. Never in my life had I heard of the fact that if someone didn’t like the food they didn’t touch nor eat, they still had to pay for it. I recommend that those who eat there be careful because I also saw a few roaches crawling around when leaving. Be aware!

This isn't my favorite spot but will eat if invited lol, food is average and portions are somewhat lacking compared to other resturants in the area. Service was good.

We were in Montevallo on Christmas Eve and this was the only restaurant (other than fast food) open. We had lunch. The server was fast and courteous. Salsa was better than most in Alabama. Didn't taste like ketchup with added flavors. I got the shrimp chimichanga, my daughter ordered the fish tacos and my bf ordered the taco, enchilada, chili relleno combo plate. Mine was tasty. Though a couple of the shrimps were very cold. The taco came in a taco bell style shell that disintegrated on the bottom side due to the moisture if the rest of the dish. Not authentic. Double corn tortillas is authentic. Though, he was pleasantly surprised that the pepper was stuffed with meat. The fish tacos had a nice size piece of fish in each. Overall, it was a decent experience. I would go there again.

The entire experience was pretty lack luster. Nothing stood out in a good way, but no major problems. A good place to go if you want something easy.

Have gone up way too much on prices. Abnormally high. Food is decent and atmosphere is good.

The food was pretty okay and the waitress was nice but when we went to check out my card wasn’t working for some reason and I was talking to my boyfriend about it and said “dang they don’t take Apple Pay either” the man butted and rudely said “I told you we didn’t take Apple Pay when you asked earlier” first and last time
