I called in to go order a few weeks ago. They called me back told me they couldn’t make my order because they had a private dinner and that they would comp the next meal that I ordered came in today and mentioned how they had previously said that they would call my next meal. They then had my boyfriend speak to the owner on the phone asked for my physical address my first and last name he told her that he did not feel comfortable with that. Making us seem like we are lying for the food to be cold, soggy and disgusting Will never go there again I understand why their business is dying

The place is amazing! The young lady & gentleman that took care of me were so friendly & made sure I was happy. Even the chef came out & ask how I was enjoying my meal. I had the Spicy pimento cheese burger which was juicy & delicious! Nice quiet place for a great burger. They invited me back for their weekend brunch & I can’t wait to return!

The issue for me is red meat in my hamburger. Did not ask me how I wanted it cooked, just brought it out that way. I do not like, wet crab-cakes either. Service was great, still looks like the old tavern.

Located in a very historic building in Montevallo. Decor was very cozy and antique. The food was delicious and very filling. The do have vegetarian options. Cocktails were on point!

Wifey and I made the short drive from Alabaster since she was on the hunt for specific art supplies with the hopes to locate at Falcon in Downtown Montevallo. Success plus more, that store is bursting with creativity!
We debated on lunch and Indigo won since it's in the same creative vein and helped being nextdoor :) Service and food were on point, Janice the owner is well accomplished and has many intriguing stories especially about here bed n breakfast nearby where Hallmark episode was shot. Looking forward to returning for watch party and bourbon tasting!

place was not busy at all. took 30 to 45 minutes to get a glass of water. another 15 minutes or so for our cocktails. so finally get to place our food order. after waiting another hour we just asked to have our food placed in to-go containers. another half hour and we were told our order was never “put in” so no food. obviously extremely understaffed. owner was there and never stopped to check on us. tipped the waiter/bartender because we felt so bad for him. oh, we had made reservations prior to going.

Went for Sunday brunch. I had the breakfast burger and my wife had an omelet with feta and spinach. My burger was cooked perfectly and was generous in size. My wife's omelet was reported as very fresh although a little oily. We couldn't finish it all though we wanted to. Will definitely return.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant. The atmosphere had a twist on classic interior with a hint of retro. The service was great, Carson was very attentive and patient (especially for being the only server), and our food was absolutely delicious. Prices are truly acceptable for the quality of their dishes. I can understand some of the ratings due to each experience differing based on their expectations for certain occasions. However, I only rate places based on their food, service and atmosphere, I don’t rate a place based on an expectation for any special occasion, I reserve those for places I’ve previously experienced.

Tried this place on Saturday and well I guess you can gather from the 2 stars it was less than impressive. Tried the fried trio appetizer with pickles, mac cheese and tomatoes. The tomatoes had a flavor I had never experienced before and not in a good way. How in the world a restaurant in the south does not have fresh green tomatoes in June escapes me. I had a 16.00 burger and I could not finish it. When I cut in to it there was an odd smell and the patty was grey. The service was not good either but I attribute that to the young man there appeared to be doing everything from hostess to bartender to sous chef to food runner. While granted they were not busy trying to do all that with four tables full would be tough. As we were getting ready to leave I noticed the posted health rating was a 90 which had I noticed that before ordering I would have left.
