Great little gem ? of a bakery in downtown Montevallo! Tons of pinatas and soooo much amazing baked goods! When I visited the clerk wasn't fluent in English, which wasn't a huge barrier since we just translated with cell phones. She was very upbeat and nice!

Horrible. I ordered a graduation/birthday cake and oh my gosh it was like a 6 year old made it. When I called them, they offered a discount on the next one but hey how can I order again from them when the cake that I paid more than $100 dollars for it was so messed up. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I wish I can download a photo so you can make your own opinion.

The order was wrong. The items that I ordered were replaced. The items I did get were not fresh. No one called to ask if I was okay with the order being changed. I would have rather they canceled my order. No refund was given.

Thank you for having a bakery nearby that isn’t overly sweet. We love coming here for special occasions and buying a dozen of this or that whether cookies or bread or cake. We always look forward to coming to downtown Montevallo and visiting La Conchita.

Very very nice people. Wonderful looking desserts..... however that taste was not for me. A group of us got multiple things to share and try from the bakery and the turnovers were definitely the best/only thing we really enjoyed.
