I got the BLT on Hawaiian bread with Fire crackers. Sandwich was perfect the crackers were amazing, buttery, flaky and super yum. Worth a lunch trip for sure.

Love the vibe at Meri Moon. Friendly service, very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Lunch was awesome! Veggie sandwich, hummus with pita, Alabama Fire Crackers and tea. And the tea was not bitter like most unsweetened teas can be.

Everything was perfect—I couldn’t ask for more, my friends and I stopped in for dinner. It was clear they use high-quality ingredients. The club sandwich I had was truly delicious—every bite felt like a celebration in my mouth! The drink was awesome, and above all, the staff were incredibly kind, sweet, and genuinely welcoming. Great converted old movie theater. I am told they show old movies one night a week. Use the old ticket booth for their old poocorn machine. Wonderful mango smoothie and sandwiches.

I live in Birmingham but me and my family (who all came from other states) were in Montevallo yesterday for my father's burial service at the National Cemetery. Afterwards, we wanted to have lunch and some coffee somewhere, so we ended up stopping at Meri Moon. We had SUCH a good experience and the food and drinks were amazing! The girls that worked there were so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was eclectic and cozy. Since I live in the area, I will definitely be making more trips from Birmingham to come back!
I love coming here! Everytime I’m in town I go and get something to drink or eat! Everything is wonderful!

Stopped in for lunch yesterday with my two granddaughters.
We were the only customers in the restaurant. One person working both the register and taking orders, and the cook.
Drinks arrived quickly alone with two salads, my granddaughter sandwich never came. I had to go ask for it as no one checked to see how we were doing. She forgot to make it.
No apologize, no let me make it up to you
And when we were leaving no thanks for coming in or anything.
Unfortunately you tip when you order so she received a nice tip for horrible service.
I would not recommend this restaurant based on my initial visit 4/18/25
