First time in. Used cash. Total was 11.81. I gave her a $20 and she gave me $8.00 back and said she didn't have change. If they short every customer their change that adds up to a good chunk in their pocket. I won't be back with that kind of work ethic!

Service was friendly and fast, but the gyro was really bad. Meat was dry and crunchy and the pita was more like a tortilla that was toasted. Fries were good though.

Wonderful food. Generous portions. They have a great menu and a good selection of Mediterranean food. I highly recommend the Baba ghanoush and the tabouli. For a town that is surrounded by Mexican restaurants the Purple Onion is an oasis. I wish more people would come to this restaurant. Every time I have been there we were the only ones in the dining room. This does not reflect the quality of the food because it is delicious. The staff is awesome and honest!
We usually go in the evening. The lady working drive thru is always very kind. It does take a while to get your food but it’s because it’s made to order. So take that into consideration. My husband always gets the gyro plate, I get the sautéed mushrooms and ranch fries. Everything is always good and the mint tea is a must!

For the past 3 times, I ordered a loaded baked potato from them. Which comes with the sour cream, cheese, butter, bacon, and green onions. But i've received just a plain baked potato with cheese, butter, and sour cream.This last time, the baked potato was not tasty. It was rather bland like they weren't even trying.
I don’t know what y’all been eating at the Purple Onion in Moody, but I ordered the Philly sub and OMG!!! It was AMAZING! The staff was friendly, everything was super clean and for a made to order meal, it came out quick and HOT! I will go as far as to say it was the best Philly cheesesteak I have ever eaten! Great job purple onion of Moody! ????????

I hear people say they've had long wait times but I felt the wait was not bad for fresh Greek food. The gyro plate and the chicken kabob plate are a little pricy but everything in the meal is delicious and they give generous portions. The tilapia plate was the best meal I've tried there. The past couple times I've ordered I've placed the order online and picked it up as a take out order. They had it ready when I arrived and the order was 100% accurate. No items missed. I haven't eaten inside the restaurant but have had great experiences with the take out.
