Went for a birthday celebration. It was a short wait, but seated in a timely manner. Food was fair, a little overpriced for the taste. It was a decent experience.

I HAD TO WAIT 3HRS!!!but the food was delicious my taste buds had been blessed. I just can’t forget the massive amount to hours I had wait just for some food that could easily be made at home.the restaurant would be a10/10 if it was not for the hours, waiting in the Alabama heat.

I have been looking forward to eating here for days. Big Mike's was a big disappointment. I ordered the sirloin steak and it came out cooked to order, but it tasted horrible. It had a bitter taste to it. The twice baked potato casserole was great. There was such a large serving of that that I didn't go home hungry. Don't order the asparagus. I got four tiny pitiful asparagus Spears that had been parched to almost a crisp. They were terrible. This place has such a good reputation, maybe I just got a bad dish. It was bad and it was an expensive bad.

Great service and amazing food! One of my absolute favorites!! I LOVE the steaks, but you really should try the Prime Pork Ribeye!!!

The food was really good, I had the Tuna w/Ginger, salad & baked potatoe. I also ordered a catfish plate 2 go!

Big Mike’s Steakhouse is THE BEST!!!!! I order the filet (cooked medium) with a salad and baked potato EVERY time and it is to-die-for!!! We also get the fried crab claws as an appetizer and they’re delish! Other items worth mentioning that we’ve had as a family are the red snapper (bienville), the snow crab legs, the teriyaki chicken breast (SO tender and good!), the fried mushrooms, and their bread with cinnamon butter. Note: If going on a Friday or Saturday night, be sure to go early to avoid the wait.

Was served completely undercooked bread. Some of the food was decent. None of it was great. Most of it I would describe as only edible. At these prices, it was a slap in the face. Big Mike's used to be great but I fear it's gone downhill. Doesn't feel like they are trying anymore. Very sad.
