Ashish and Abhi are what future restaurateurs need to model themselves after, they’re pros.The staff is consistently professional, and the food is always fantastic. Abhi is one of the best restaurants in Birmingham.

We sat on the deck as the weather was still tolerable. Pleasant with a reasonable noise level despite being on a major intersection. My wife and I started with a bowl of dinner soup that we split. Excellent broth with plenty of fresh veggies and noodles. The latter two needed a fork and knife as they were too large for the ceramic spoon that came with the soup. My wife had a beef curry entree and mine was lamb. Both were very tasty, but more mild than we preferred. No choice in spice level was provided. We both had different dark beers as there were no sweet white wines available, although they go with spicy food. There were also no sweet sakes. This was the only disappointment. We plan to return with friends.

Food quality was great! Portions were a bit on the smaller side than I prefer but I didn't leave starving. Service was great! Very friendly staff and knowledgeable of the menu which had good variety. Parking can be difficult and require a short walk but that's common in this area. The only major downside was the noise level. Its such a tight space that your seated closely and the music was too loud. Honestly could not have a conversation with the person across from me and had to yell at the waitress. Given the good quality I would recommend and I'll try again hopefully with less decibels.

We enjoyed the food here—it was delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Unfortunately, we had a very uncomfortable experience with our server. When we asked to review our order and I admitted my mistake (while apologizing), our server, Tony, became upset. Without saying anything, he abruptly turned and walked away. After that, he passed by our table several times without checking on us, though he continued attending to other tables. His behavior left us feeling uneasy, to the point where I didn’t feel comfortable even asking for water.

We eventually asked for the manager, who handled the situation professionally, and I truly appreciate that.

Dining out should be an enjoyable break from life’s challenges, but sadly, that wasn’t the case tonight.

It’s not cheap but everything that came out was tasty.
Enjoyed the pork belly appetizer. And a friend ordered some kind of chicken fajita thing that was pretty incredible.
The specialty sushi rolls were ok.
Service was great, even for a large group.
Did get a little loud, so it might be difficult to hear with a party larger than 4.
House red was is Educated Guess which is awesome. Decent option for a client dinner or something a little fancy.

The service was top tier. The sushi was delicious. It was fresh and and well seasoned and nicely prepared. The fried peas was crispy and flavorful. The ambiance was well lite. I will be back

The atmosphere here is absolutely astounding. The aromas and the overall vibes are entrancing as well as the beautiful lighting and let's not forget the menu! The pork belly bowl is amazing especially contrasted with Khao soy. Opal, our server, was so charismatic and really made the night such an unforgettable experience. Thank you Opal!

I took the hubs here for his birthday so we could both try something new and it was a great experience! From the moment you walk in you’re captivated by the tranquil music and decorative stairs. Once you get to the actual restaurant, it’s totally different and gives off the best sushi bar vibe!

We had the lumpia as an appetizer and loved the complex flavors in something so simple. He got the fire roll and inhaled it so it must have been delicious haha while I tried ramen for the first time!

Our server was super attentive and recommended the ramen bowl for a first-timer. It was delicious but come super hungry or prepare to share as I was able to eat it for lunch and dinner the next day! We will definitely be back for more than just special occasions!

It's so nice and intimate, with inside and outside sitting. The food was delicious and Jack, our waiter is a true pro. The staff was nice and efficient. It's definitely a place we'll be returning to.
