Both Google and the website indicate Dram is open for lunch on Saturdays starting at noon. Had people come from out of town and we went. Completely closed - like chairs on the tables closed. Really?

Clean modern design in contrast to Dram that is downstairs. There’s often confusion for OOTs as to how Avo fits into the picture... Avo is upstairs and takes reservations, which is great if you have a larger group. Dram has great bar seating and tables first come, first served. You’ll find outdoor seating on each level. Both Avo and Dram have dedicated menus, but allow ordering from both in either restaurant. I like to think of Avo/Dram as a single destination and Dram or Avo individually as a mood. Each space is unique. I enjoy the salmon salad and recommend asking for the dressing on the side. The kale Caesar with a protein is also an excellent choice.

I love AVO / Dram. I take my dad here every time he is in town. The drinks are great and the food is excellent.

Terrible experience. Food was ok but the service was miserable. As one of 2 tables in the whole restaurant on a Friday night (what a telling sign that this place has gone down hill), it shouldn’t take over 3 hours start to finish (1 hour of which was attempting to get a check).

I just wish you all were a little more honest with these reviews and maybe my friend and I wouldn’t have wasted our cheat day coming from Nowhere, AL for this awful food and service. (You know how important cheat day is) Truffle fries were damn good but our other food came out cold and wrong. Our server was on another planet, taking her time with everything, sharing strange personal stories and she came back to the table 2x because she kept forgetting what we ordered. (Still got it wrong) Our table was pretty gross too... a crumb or two, fine but hairs though?

We were the only table there by 9pm. The turnaround time on the bill took so long, I considered leaving and just getting a new credit card.

I have never been so embarrassed to take my friends (from out of town) to a dinner in my entire life. The service was absolutely horrible, the drinks were awful and the food was okay. I had to constantly apologize to my friends for such a horrible dinner. Very disappointed.

Always a good time with a great atmosphere and wonderful food.

Went to eat here, hoping the place had improved since my last terrible experience a year ago. nope. The employees were drunk. I am not kidding. DRUNK. Also possibly on pills or some kind of drugs? I overheard the bartender talk about sleeping with a stripper to other customers. Two people who had just sat down heard him say that and immediately got up and left. The food was terrible and incomplete orders. And on top of that some the wait staff was overheard admitting they were drunk, as if it weren't obvious. Just found out they have an 83 health rating as if October 4, 2018. Never setting foot in here again.

We came here for a birthday brunch this past Sunday. We had a huge party upstairs on the patio. The service was pretty good considering the size of our party. There seemed to be two servers, the other seemed to be on it more than ours, but I wasn't too bothered by that. What I was not impressed with was the food. I ordered the Nashville Chicken and when I ordered, I asked the waitress was it spicy, she responded that it was. Well. It was not. Matter of fact, it was lacking in any type of flavor. I also ordered a burger for my husband to go. Now, I will share the blame for how the burger came out as I did not specify that he wanted it medium well. However, the waitress also did not ASK how I would like my burger. And the blood red burger my husband opened up upon arriving at work was very disappointing. Also attached a pic of my fries because they were shoestring and burnt. What is the reason for shoestring? Really. Just a waste of carbs if you ask me.

All the Panko please! The Panko crusted chicken is very good and is what keeps me coming back. They have a good sushi starter as well. If chicken and fish is not your thing, don't fret-you can also order from the dram menu and get a great burger!!!

The food itself isn't half bad. That said the service is usually awful. Being an upscale restaurant, one would expect it to be quiet, but on several occasions when I have gone, it has been insanely loud. It's more of an upscale bar where people are over-served. Above all the posted hours are never kept, and this restaurant usually closes 2 to 3 hours early. Not worth going to.

Got the filet, asked for medium and got more medium rare. The steak was still good. Drinks were a little overpriced (22 dollars for a double? Bottles only 28 and there's 12 doubles in it at 2oz apiece). Server was excellent. Location good, food good.

Taken into consideration Avo's location and its concept as a whole, you'd think they'd be a really acceptional dining experience, but my visit here really left much to be desired. It was a little bit of a hassle to find, Avo is actually located upstair to Dram Whiskey Bar. They do however share menu, so if you're incapable of finding something from Avo's menu to your liking, you could always order off Dram's menu. This was the case with me, so I ordered the Bacon Mac & Cheese off of Dram's dinner menu. My dinner guest had the Panko-Crusted Breast of Chicken off of Avo's menu. We both also had a bit off of each other's dishes to taste. The mac & cheese was very rich and decadent, the chicken breast however to me was just kinda "meh" honestly. Avo kinda borders between the line of upscale and casual to me. Service here was a bit slow and our server would go long periods without really checking up with us. This was also on a day where there were no more than two other parties dining mind you. It's a nice place, but definitely could use some improvement.

Food was excellent. Our waiter, Dylan, was horrible. Our order was simple. I ordered the Dram burger and he had to come back and verify my order. Maybe he should have written it down to start with. He brought our burgers and fries but didn't bring the other items we had ordered. So we asked for the rest of our meal and Dylan did bring it. It was obvious Dylan really didn't want to be there. I asked for our check...and waited..... What waiter doesn't want to turn a table and get a tip? Dylan! After ten minutes we got up and I as we walked by Dylan I asked if our check was ready. He said yes. I went to the register to ask to pay my tab. I still had to wait for Dylan to complete it. So not only is Dylan a lousy waiter he mispeaks the truth. As I stood at the register Dylan walked up with my check. As I was talking about what a bad waiter he was. The mature Dylan gave me a raspberry. Needless to say there was no tip for Dylan.
