Stopped in without a reservation Monday evening as I was staying locally for business. I was surprised how busy it was for that early in the week, but they found me a table. Food was good. Service was fine. Given front of restaurant and name I somehow expected more of an everyday, bar menu but this is defining upscale dining.

Great food, but I don’t like tip suggestions of 30%, 25%, and 20% when I have to wait in line to order food at a counter then hope a table is available. Just raise your prices if you want more money.

I the atmosphere is really nice and welcoming. I am here on vacation and this has been my favorite dining experience. The food is simple but oh so good. I had the turkey club with Mac and cheese. The heirloom tomato definitely sent this sandwich to a new and better level. I had the garden dove to drink and it was one of the best beverages I have ever had. Johnny R. was my bartender and made the experience perfect. Thank you!

Scallopini was not Scallopini, it was grilled chicken on ricotta, no buttery, lemony white wine flavor at all. $12 simple salad was a plate of lettuce.

If you’re in the area and need a quick stop for a fairly healthy lunch this is a fine choice, but it’s absolutely not worth going out of your way for. Staff is nice. Not sure if AC is broken or they just choose to keep it warm, but not a great pick for a very hot day.
