Char Bar 7 is a great lunch spot. Unfortunately, our dinner date just wasn't great. We were sat next to the side door and it was left open just about the entire time. It was a cold night so it was uncomfortable. We asked our waitress to close it, and she did but that didn't last long. She told us we could close it on our own (not in a rude way, just being helpful) but we didn't want to spend our dinner closing a door. Our salads came after our meal and my salmon...
My wife and I had a nice night out on an anniversary trip. The atmosphere was comfortable with nice neighborhood bar feel. Meal of steak was good. My ribeye was perfect but my wife's filet was little grisly. Good service.
Lindsay was very helpful as our server. Good food. Since it was Sunday lunch there were quite a few tables with babies and toddlers, many of which were very unhappy and make their displeasure known🥲
