Been 15 years since my last visit and I remember the food was great and good price.
Not the same now and not as good. Food was $25 for soup and one simple chicken dish. The food was bad, no sauce, and dry. The soup was bland and weak flavor. At least this one and last time visit was nostalgic of old memories.
Really good food at a Mountain Brook price....
Best Mandarin Chicken and Homemade hot mustard.
Finally, a place in the south that knows how to do Midwest Style “Springfield Cashew Chicken” No one down here has understood what it is or how to do it. The folks at Chen understood the request and delivered.
Would love to see it added to the menu. Northerners would love it. 🥰
Thank you!!! It’s so good! The service is top notch. The crab Rangoon are delicious.
I would not recommend this place. I paid $20 for 12 dried out Crab Rangoons and $17 for overcooked, dried out sweet & sour chicken. The only thing this restaurant did "okay" with is the fried rice (which was bland and needed soy sauce) and the 2L Coca Cola. If you want Chinese food, there are much better options around.
They need to get rid of the new woman working at the front - terribly rude person!

Absolutely love this place!!! especially the ppl who work there!! they are so welcoming. It may be a little pricey but the huge portions of food are great!! if you need more food than what they give u at dinner menu then it’s time to hit the ?️

I’ve been eating here ever since i was able to eat food. May be a little pricey but Hey!! that’s not the waitresses fault. Seems like all this complaint is from broke ppl who can’t afford to go out, some ppl need to learn to BUDGET.

What a disappointment this place is now! For years it was the premier Chinese take out but now the quality is inversely proportional to the price. Sweet and sour pork was almost inedible even to our 90lb lab. It’s as if Hardee’s dropped off their french fry grease to be used on fried items. Consistently bad last three orders. At least they are consistent.

Food is ok but too expensive for a take out food I paid almost $20 for I meal of Mongolian beef with white rice, and they charge you that much and they don’t even take American Express they don’t want to pay a little bit extra for credit card fees, but they charge extra ordinary money, I used to like their food. Their prices was reasonable but now they’re getting too expensive not worth it.

Shrimp was not clean. When I brought this to their attention, I was told “it’s clean, they might have missed a few.”
