We had a delicious lunch at Daniel George, including wonderful, fresh fried oysters with remoulade sauce that the chef made gluten free. The caramelized Brussels sprouts were tasty. The cucumber tomato feta salad could have used a bit of Italian dressing or other flavorful addition, but it was light and fresh. And the noise level is just right if you want to have a meaningful conversation.

What a wonderful gem! Word-of-mouth led us to this restaurant, and it did not disappoint! The ambiance was a perfect setting for my daughter's prom dinner. The staff directly reflected the atmosphere with class and simplicity. We jumped right in to the entree selections. I chose the beef tenderloin and my daughter chose the salmon. From the first bite, the food curation is exquisite, top notch quality. Highly recommend Daniel George!

Sat right on time. All food was excellent! 4 of us and we all tried different entrees. We had Salmon, Snapper, beef and bolognese....all where perfectly prepared. Very attentive staff and great atmosphere.

We just dropped in for a glass of wine and some dessert. It was at the very end of their lunch service, but they did not rush us. Chocolate lava cake was very good, and as odd as it sounds, we also ordered cheddar biscuits, which were great.

5 star dining in Birmingham. This restaurant was top notch in every way. From the service to the upscale decor to the menu, we just loved it. Everything was delicious. A few of my poetry had the grouper. They said it was tender and perfectly cooked. I had the pappardelle which I'm sure was house made. The sauce was expertly seasoned, chunky and very comforting. It was all divine. We shared a few desserts. The churros we crispy and delicious, blankets in crunchy sugar and cinnamon and the lava cake was just sweet enough. Nice wine list and several seasonal cocktails were also offered. Perfection. I would definitely go back. It was a wonderful dining experience.

Underwhelmed. Short rib ravioli was probably the highlight of the evening, but 2 small ravioli for $17 is a bit rich. Crab cake had way too much miscellaneous ingredients in it. Filet was bland and not very tender.

Make your reservation well in advance, and if the host tries to seat you at the table by kitchen door refuse and wait at the bar for a better table. You'll thank me

We are regulars for a reason! We always have exceptional food and service! My favorite is the salmon, but everything we order is great! We always order the fried oysters and shrimp and they are delicious! Thanks to Daniel George for making our dinners special ?

We usually have a great experience. The grouper was below the quality we usually experience. Not sure if over cooked or just bad quality. Service was surprisingly slower than usual.

Have not been there in a couple of years and so glad we did. Food was fabulous as was our server. The Peach Cobbler is a must! Everyone was thrilled with their appetizer and dinner selections. Will definitely go back soon

White fish with succotash was delicious. Also romaine salad with Greek goddess dressing was good. Server (Toya) worked the table perfectly not too much interruption yet catering to our needs

Excellent selections and service. We brought our clients from out of town here for lunch and they were raving about their meals all afternoon.

Food was excellent. Peach Cobbler was fabulous. Did not enjoy sitting at a table next to the bar. Very busy and seemed a little shorthanded staff wise, but those there tried hard to please.
