Small shop with small selections BUT the cakes are exceptional and the cookies were incredible!! And the girl that helped me was very kind, informed and a delight! I will be going back!
Instead of a groom's cake, we got gluten-free salted caramel pretzel cake cups from Daughter's. They were a HIT. We stuck our wedding crest sticker on top. Every flavor is to die for, but I especially love the gluten-free flavors, because you can't tell a difference!
Birmingham is extremely behind as far as restaurants go with gluten free offerings. Not Daughters baking! Not only do they make insanely delicious cakes, but they have inclusive options that are just as delicious as the “regular” flavors! I traveled from Birmingham with two of their cakes about a 7 hour car ride and fed 6 people with the cakes - EVERYONE thought they were beyond excellent. DB, you have earned a loyal customer!
