Round of applause for Dedrick, Angel and Carl! I’ve frequented Jersey Mikes Cahaba a few times on lunch and they are always extremely pleasant! However my last experience with these guys tipped the scales of EXCEPTIONAL customer service! I’ve been in the customer service/management field for over 12 years and consider myself an expert. These three men provide customer service out of this WORLD! Not only do they work as a cohesive unit, but they are extremely efficient and borderline perfect! Personally I’d recruit them for management positions although Dedrick and Carl stated they are already both managers! In customer service you never know what may be going on in the minds of the customer. In my case, I had a few things going on in my personal life that are less than stellar. After my encounter they fixed it unknowingly. Dedrick, Carl, and Angel went above and beyond their call of duty without anyone in the store asking them too! This is the epitome of an amazing unit! Kudos to them! I’d like to see ANY managers at ANY Jersey Mikes stores that could outperform them without micromanaging!! This speaks to their character and integrity. All three of these men are equally great and deserve an opportunity to LEAD! Store managing is one thing! These guys deserve the opportunity to go higher! Regional Manager or Area manager and they deserve the too be apart of any types of internal training that can help them excel to those heights! These three, NOT the brand of Jersey Mikes have made a lifelong customer of me!
The absolute worst employees have been hired at this location. This chick should be fired immediately. She yelled at us and told us to leave when she was being rude. How is she allowed near paying customers? This store will go out of business if the these people aren’t fired and replaced with people who take pride in their jobs and don’t mouth off to customers and who are so rude. Twice we’ve been here and the employees were rude, slow and got the order incorrect. One had nasty long braids going down into the food. How is this not a health violation? I know it’s Birmingham, but have some sort of standards. Hair should never be allowed near food. This is turning into Centerpoint and what a shame; centerpoint used to be decent, too back in the day. The new manager, though, was very respectful, courteous and went above and beyond. He deserves a raise for having to deal with people like this. Poor dude.
