0 STARS. Like others have stated they close early. We stopped in at 7:20pm and Google and their window said they closed at 8pm. They wouldn’t serve us. Don’t know how this place stays in business and clearly the Owner doesn’t care because others have said the same thing. Workers said “talk to our manager.” Manager if you are reading… Change your hours to state that you close 40 minutes early!

Wish I could give 0 starts. 4th time I’ve come here and they’re packing up ice cream over 30 minutes before closing. This is ridiculous.

Not only do they not have the ready-made cakes that they advertise on their website available at this location, But they don't use fresh strawberries for a $45 cake. They are using frozen strawberries. I bought one. I am going to pick it up on Wednesday and I'm sure I am going to be sorely disappointed as the other person who made a review was with the frozen strawberries. The girl even had to look in the book to find the cake to make it. This is a cake that they are supposed to have on hand!! Edited to add: just picked up my ice cream cake with the icing sliding off the sides!! ???Are you flipping kidding me??! Was my ICE CREAM CAKE sitting on the counter somewhere, thawing?? This is complete trash. Will update again once I get home and tell you if they picked the correct strawberry short cake from the book.

I never leave google reviews but this location was not good, I go to the Auburn location all the time and this Bham one was horrible. “Two” scoops was barely even one. The strawberrys were obviously frozen and tasted like a freezer. And the icing on the cake, a “convenience fee” when we went to pay. Which makes no sense considering paying with cash is the least desirable way to pay these days judging by all the “cashless” businesses, and we paid with a debit card so I have no idea what “convenience” we were paying for. But from now on i’ll only go to the Auburn location ✌️ ??

The ice cream is ALWAYS delicious. However, there was a woman she said her name was Cris (which I doubt bc she was rude to my kids the whole exchange) I have 2 w allergies. She was scooping the ice creams w the same scoop so there was chocolate in the rainbow ice cream. One has a chocolate allergy. My daughter asked her if she can change scoops. She shook her head and walked away so the boy took over. He finished hers plus the other 4 we had….she continued to shake her head so I asked what her problem was. She said what ice cream did she (my daughter) get? Those are weird flavors. And asked her is she paying w cash or card. She’s 14. She said we’re all together l. “Cris” kept shaking her head and said oh my gosh and rolled her eyes. I asked for her name she said those are weird ice creams. The ice cream is good. The 2 young men are polite. The lady absolutely ruined this trip.$34. And couldn’t even enjoy it.

Worst experience yet. I wanted to get a quart and at first they decided they don’t do those although it was right there on the menu. Then when they said they could they decided they can’t do mix-ins so they just dumped in ice cream and dumped toppings on top even though the menu clearly says mix ins and this wasn’t my first time getting it from there. Not sure if the management has gone downhill since they opened but I sadly won’t be back.

DO NOT expect your order to be correct!! I ordered a bday cake online for my child’s bday party. Cut into it at the party and it was completely wrong. I called and spoke to someone who said “I knew as soon as I made the cake you were gonna call about it” but she was so sweet I asked for a partial refund and we would just forget it. She told me her manager would call me and take care of it. A week went by, no call, so I called the store. I explained what happen to Brandy who answered, she said “you’re really calling over this” so I asked for a refund. Then said “well you got a cake” and I replied yes but I got the wrong cake she said “I’m not about to argue with you” I said well I’m not gonna argue with you either. Then proceeded to tell me since I was being rude she was going to hang up on me. She did.

Marble slab is one of our favorites, but we won’t be back to this location! They were extremely busy and their freezer had been set too high so the ice cream was harder to scoop. This was not a problem, and I didn’t mind the wait. However, I stood by a listened to Christine make rude remarks under her breath about customers constantly. The lady in front of us simply asked her to check her out before she started mixing for our group of four and she rolled her eyes. She rolled her eyes at my 9 year old daughter when she didn’t hear her say rainbow sprinkles. Then when she was preparing my ice cream, I asked if they had hot caramel to put on top because they were out of regular and she rolled her eyes at me. When I called her out(because I had witnessed this one time too many), she got argumentative and said she didn’t know what I was talking about. I then informed her I had stood here and listened to her make remarks about custom and roll eyes at others . She proceeded to tell me she’s not from here and that she’s not rude. Totally unacceptable. Then she continued to make comments about being called rude as my family sat there to eat. We will never be back!

I absolutely would not recommend ordering anything from marble slab. I ordered my daughters ice cream cake on Friday Dec. 30th, received the email confirmation and was charged. I arrived at 3:30 pm Jan 2nd to pick it up and they stated they didn’t have an order for us. The way she spoke was as if we did something wrong. I showed her my confirmation and she continued to state they didn’t have an order for us, with no explanation or apology. She went on to say that sometimes this happens and they don’t know until the customers come in to pick up. I asked why do they still allow online orders of it is not working properly? She didn’t have an answer. Then, we were told she couldn’t issue our refund and the manager had to do it but of course she wasn’t there. And the manager can only refund certain things, corporate has to refund the other things. So basically we paid for a cake, that we didn’t get, and have to wait a week to hopefully to our refund. Sherry was extremely unprofessional, rude, unapologetic, and not compassionate whatsoever. I would not recommend ordering anything special from them to anyone! Mtn Brook Creamery saved the day, last minutes for my daughters birthday!
