The staff were so friendly and welcoming! And the food was AMAZING! And that sweet tea 🤤🤤! I definitely recommend Craft’s!

It's a good go to when you can't figure out what to eat and want to avoid a fight with your kids before everyone gets hangry.

Stopped here for lunch today had the white meat bone in chicken, chicken salad and mac n cheese..fried chicken was moist and a HUGE breast, curly fries were good and a welcomed change from regular crinkle cuts...chicken salad served on wheat was very flavorful and homemade, they also sell it in containers to bring home mac n cheese was good also not dry and very cheesy

Been going here since it was Miss Dots, and it never fails to deliver the goods. Finger-lickin' Southern Fried/Roasted Chicken with some great sides in downtown Mountain Brook.

I was utterly disappointed as this place is actually just awful. After being scowled at by the staff, I was made to wait 30 minutes for bland tasteless chicken and sides I'm fairly certain we're incorrectly cooked and from a pouch. Boasting to be southern inspired, I should've known something would be wrong when rather than collard greens the sides included feta. Still I was looking forward to fried chicken based on the glowing reviews on their Google page. I am now fairly sure though that those reviews were composed almost entirely of bots and paid actors. Finally I get my chicken, and it was bland, dry, and overpriced. KFC claims to use seven herbs and spices; with Craft's chicken I would've been happy to gotten to two. All i could taste from it was salt and disappointment. My side of rice and gravy was undercooked, bland, and so bad we passed it around the table so everyone could try it and scowl. I couldn't even wash my hands of this place on the way out as there wasn't any soap or paper towels in the bathroom. I will not be returning and will suggest to you to avoid it.

We absolutely love this place! Everything we have tried is so good. My favorite is the Hot Honey Chicken Quesadilla. All the folks that work at Craft's are so nice and genuinely are so happy to see you. It makes it such a positive and happy atmosphere. :-)

The service from the start was amazing, very informative and helpful while scanning the menu. The only thing that through me off was that the atmosphere didn’t match the caliber of the food. The restaurant was very clean and nice, just didn’t stand out. The food belongs in every cookbook known to man. I have a very critical scale in which I rate food, 5 means average. Not bad, not amazing but satisfies the craving of that said food. The macaroni was a solid 8 and the hot dot sandwich, 9.5. 9.5 because giving a ten is risky business. Best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had.

A friend and I went in to grab frozen Transfusions and the staff told me this was "the first and last time they would accept my ID" because it is out of state. I'm 25 years old and never have problems around Birmingham at any other restaurant or bar and would happily have the police check my ID if it came to that. She told me it's a new law that they cannot sell alcohol to out of state IDs which I have never heard of and can't find any record of online. I've had several friends come in with out of state IDs and have never been questioned before so I'm not sure where this came from. Other than that I've always loved crafts and am sad to have had this experience.

My review is based on this visit only.I am a salt-aholic and usually a Crafts chicken fan, but the chicken I bought today was WAY TOO SALTY, even for this salt-aholic!!!I hate that I bought a whole chicken for family supper tonight. Could barely eat it, but I did because I live in Fultondale and was not about to go back because it was rush hour. It was apparently the batter. Worst chicken I have ever had. Apparently, after reading other reviews, the salt has been an issue many times. Horrible
