My review is based on this visit only.I am a salt-aholic and usually a Crafts chicken fan, but the chicken I bought today was WAY TOO SALTY, even for this salt-aholic!!!I hate that I bought a whole chicken for family supper tonight. Could barely eat it, but I did because I live in Fultondale and was not about to go back because it was rush hour. It was apparently the batter. Worst chicken I have ever had. Apparently, after reading other reviews, the salt has been an issue many times. Horrible

I had the 4 tender meal with fried okra and a biscuit. Biscuit and okra were very good. The tenders would have been delicious consistecy-wise, but they were so salty that they were not edible. The person I dined with agreed. We joked hat the salt lid had to have come off as they were adding it to the breading mix and they just kept going. The person I dined with also had the 4 tender meal with fries and the fries were great. Not sure what happened with the chicken, but disappointed since that's what we came for.

This was our first time eating at Craft's since we're new to the area. Delicious! So good that we came back the next day.The food was piping hot and the chicken bites are the best I've ever had. Finally someone made them with high quality white meat with no yucky surprises (well trimmed away from the bone. IYKYN.The fries are cut in a most unusual shape and very crunchy on the outside, tender & fluffy on the inside.I chose ranch as my dip and it is made fresh - my favorite kind. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and in the cutest part of Mountain Brook. If you've never been, I can 100% recommend a visit.Parking: We didn't have any problems during either visit, but from what I could gather, it's street parking in a cute village style walkable shopping area. It could become more challenging on weekends and weeknights in the summer. Several handicapped spaces right in front of the location, van friendly.

I dropped off my kids here while I waited in the car. They ordered and sat to wait for their to-go order. After roughly 10 mins I came in to see what was taking so long. This was around 4pm there were no other orders pending. No one appeared to be working on their food and employees were sitting around eating and chit chatting. I went back to car waited 10 more mins. Then I walked in to more employees talking and no to go boxes. I asked, "is their food being worked," one gentleman that was about to head out of the kitchen, turned got three to go boxes down and proceeded to get the chicken that had been sitting ready 20 mins prior boxed up. It took him 2 mins to get their orders boxed up. What a waste of my time. Had I not asked would they have ever taken any action. Seems like a bad business model to me.

This was my first time here. My friend advised to check it out since I love hot fried chicken. I had the chicken tenders with honey hot sauce. It was delicious. I did find a piece of hair in my ranch, which is why I gave 4/5.I would still come back.

Delicious food.Had a sample of the catering menu brought to my office today. While the fried chicken was definitely the highlight, the sides were all fantastic as well.

First, the chicken here is awesome because the breading is crispy on the outside and juicey on the inside. The honey mustard I had was made in house and it wasn't too sweet! The atmosphere is great, very clean and family oriented with both inside and outside seating to enjoy your meal. Last, the frozen alcoholic drinks are very good! I recommend the Yellow Hammer. If you like something different when it comes to fried chicken, then this is the place.
