I was introduced to Ousler’s at my baby shower 3 years ago and quickly fell in love. The sandwiches are delicious and so light. They are perfect for any occasion, but I’ve also been known to go buy some just for myself to enjoy! The prices are incredibly reasonable, too. Especially the boxed lunch. Their new location is just as convenient as the old one, but more modern and with more parking!

This place is a rarity - a small family business over 100 years old! I'm fortunate enough to live near this place ( moved to Rele street ) and stop in at least once a week to grab a sandwich. It's a genius idea bc these are those wonderful finger sandwiches we all ( age 60 and up) grew up eating at weddings ,showers etc -they're always fresh and very reasonably priced ! I go by to get a box lunch for myself and friends when we have our women's meetings .I've never had one bad experience from Ouslers !The sandwiches are always fresh and the menu is the same as 50 years ago ( where else will you find a cream cheese olive sandwich? )Bottom line it's a classic store w the friendliest staff in Mountain Brook !They also make homemade mint chocolates that are to die for .I love that I'm supporting a family run local business !If you want a tray of the finger sandwiches you need to order at least a week ahead - they stay busy here ! Highly recommend the chicken salad & pimento cheese !
