This is Ann’s son: The queso was so good even my grandma enjoyed it!
Went for Mother’s Day. Party of 6, 2 kids. We were the first ones in. We were sat in the back dark room usually reserved for large groups. Not sat in the regular area with windows. Long story short, the portions - not just the tapas - are very small. huevos ranchero is usually a large dish. It was on a very small plate. I asked for eggs over easy. It arrived hard. They lost half our food at the expediting phase. No apology from a manager, no discount, nothing. Didn’t want food written off but a little apology would have gone a long way. Service just fell behind. I get it. The servers are young, etc. it’s Mother’s Day. But it’s not cheap, so you expect a higher level of service for the price.when high priced Mexican food is your thing, you better hit and hit perfectly. Otherwise, a food truck will usually be better and cheaper. And that was the case today.
Carmen our server was excellent. She gave us some great drink and food recommendations that our group devoured.
Food was mediocre and very overpriced for what it was. Market price items especially.
The food was decent serving sizes compared to prices the worst. Paid market price for 3 shrimp and 3 oz of snapper. Way over priced. One shot of tequila $10
Gorgeous atmosphere! Came here for my birthday dinner, and everything was delicious! Our server took great care of us! He even went as far as to make my bf a togo cup of their coffee before we left. Highly recommend!
First time dining here and I really wanted to like it. I was so excited to try the food here, but unfortunately was very disappointed.
The ambiance outside was very nice but the food really needs improvement. As an appetizer, the guacamole does not taste well with the sweet plantain chips it comes with. The mussels didn’t taste fresh but instead tasted dirty. It was very difficult to even eat. The churro for dessert came out cold, was hard and had an aftertaste of cleaning products. The plate i was served with was also chipped. Service was just ok.
Really hoping management takes advice and they improve their food and service.

the food was good and my waitress was very sexy and hot but when i tried to write my number to give to her on the paper napkin she refused. she was rude and lied to me about having a bf when I checked her FB account it said she is single. i also did not recieve my employer discount for working in the same shopping centre. if this is how u run ur business then no wonder your hiring! soy y luna? more like soy y merde!
Went for my birthday lunch! Was so excited! The food was cold and stale tasting
The quesidillas were hard and stale, the tacos were cold
So disappointed
Wondered why we were the ONLY people there on a Tuesday for lunch
This is a nice place to meet folks for a protracted evening of grazing, or to figure out where you REALLY want to be.
Small plates are just that. If the space were a little more inviting it would be, well, more inviting. Concrete floor, open ceiling, lot's of varnished wood and windows looking over parking are the stark reality.
There are some meh moments on the menu and it's easy to get too many cheese / tortilla combinations but it can be fun and good too. Know this.
I think if the management would ease in some actual Tapas items the market is here. Now it's a fine line between Cheesy/Greasy Mexican and a precious upscale attempt. We go fairly often, but mainly b/c it's close and friends suggest it.
Fridas, La Paz, Mexico Lindo, Heck- Taco Mama - all have SOME of this menu already. A Tapas menu would differentiate this place...I would absolutely go much more often.

Fantastic spot. We had queso with chorizo, salad, beef flautas, chicken chilaquiles, and the steak item with jelly (that was not my favorite—nothing wrong just not my style).
Service was impeccable--very friendly and prompt but not obtrusive. Drinks were fantastic--go here.

This is THE place for tapas in Birmingham. There is nothing like their duck empanadas. Melt in your mouth with the perfect amount of cheese and pickled vegetables to break up the richness. The staff from the hostess to the back waiter, everyone, were so kind and attentive.
Lastly, the atmosphere here is perfect for an intimate date night.
