My wife and I visited this area with the owners and they are absolutely amazing. Amazing atmosphere, Amazing conversation, and Amazing wine. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. HIGHLY advise visiting and enjoying yourself.

My sister and her daughters came to visit us, so all us girls went to the winery. That was me and my daughter’s first time there also. What an experience! The wine tasting was so much fun. Mr Bobby was the highlight of the entire experience. We all came home with wines, our souvenir glasses and other items. It’s an intimate setting. We had a ball!!!

Went here as part of our girls day yesterday. Quaint place out in the country. We did the $10 tasting and it included one of their souvenir wine glasses as well as crackers and chocolate to pair with the wines. The Tailgate Red was my favorite. Bought a couple of bottles to bring home with me. The best part was meeting the owners, Mr. Bobby and Mrs. Geneva, who are in their 80s and have been married for 63 years. We enjoyed their hospitality and getting to know them. It was a great day!

Wow! Whippoorwill has some of the best wine I’ve ever had! And that’s saying a lot because 1) I tried almost every wine they offer, and 2) I usually don’t even drink red. I also loved the pretty drive through Tallassee and Notasulga. The two cute shop dogs and the sweet owner, Mr. Watkins, made the experience that much more enjoyable. Also, please note that Whippoorwill makes more than just sweet, white dessert wines; they have semi-sweet, dry, red, and just about everything you can imagine. Their wine is so good that I went twice in one week. I had to stock up before I went out West.

So much fun! We had just left a fancier facility where the woman working was extremely bland and dry and came to Whippoorwill and let me tell you. The wine was better and the man working was a HOOT! We will be back! The wine was so good! Another man left before us with a whole case and I see why! We got a case as well! The tasting was fun! Overall a wonderful experience

My family and I stopped in at the vineyard while breaking up a roadtrip and looking for something different to do on our way to visit family. Well Mr. Bobby was so much fun during the wine tasting that we left with a case of wine to share with our family. Muscadine grapes are different and not what we were use to but we were very pleased and happy with our selections. Mr. Bobby educated us on his family’s vineyard and the awards for each of the wines. We definitely recommend visiting and supporting this local vineyard. We had a great time!!!
