It's my lady friend's favorite place to get tongue tacos. Waitress was very friendly. The hot sauce set me on fire?

This place absolutely deserves 5 stars! Very friendly staff and clean restaurant! The food was delicious and freshly prepared! In my opinion this is the best authentic Mexican food in north Alabama. Will return!!

absolutely disgusting. I am not a picky eater and this was by far the worst I've ever eaten. tamale was so dry it crumbled when I tried to eat it, the rice tasted 5 years old ,the salsa was in a gel form and the quesadilla well I dont know what that was all about. presentation was pretty but dont let it fool ya. 14 dollars in the trash. it was so gross I didnt even give it to my dog.

This is honestly one of the best places to eat at in Oneonta, I rank it in my top 3. I make the drive to eat there from Argo, so you know it's good if someone is driving 45 minutes for some delicious food.

La Potosina has by far the VERY best food. Their tamales are so flavorful. I would eat here everyday if I could.

First Taco shop I experienced in Alabama. And it was a good one. Will definately be going back. A bit pricey but I wasnt bothered by it.

“$17 down the drain” is what I thought of my experience of the food from here. The Tacos that I ordered were surprisingly bland. The meat was completely unseasoned and difficult to chew and the tomatillo sauce was watery to the point of only having hints of flavor. I tried a friend’s chorizo taco and it was utter garbage. For some odd reason I received two different cuts for the onions for my tacos, which is admittedly a non issue, however the queso that I ordered was also watery, without any of the cheesy, salty flavor you would expect. That was replaced with the undertones of a spoiled milk taste, which was made worse because the tortilla chips that accompanied this culinary abomination were also, bland; no salt, no flavor at all.Whoever prepared this disappointment needs to never be in food service, they need to sweep floors, and clean pots. I know I won’t be returning, I advise others to refrain as well. Don’t trust these other 5 start reviews, I wouldn’t be shocked if they had some sort of ties to the owners.Oh! the “Fruitas Aqua Fresca” was ok. So it was only a $14.00 waste of time and money.

I love the frutas aqua Fresca but the tacos aren't the best quality because their is not much seasoning on the meat and their salsa is very watered down
