Atmosphere is very cozy. Servers very attentive to our needs. Food was not quite 'Cajun' tasting. Not a whole lot of flavor, but not to say the food was not good quality.

Four of us ladies went out to eat there and the service was great. All of our food was wonderful and had fast friendly service. A really great place to eat. We will be going back for sure!!!

Absolutely Delicious! Everything was seasoned well. I'm from Louisiana and when people say things are seasoned, they usually aren't. My fiance ordered a steak and said it was the best steak he has eaten in a long time. Everything we tried was amazing.

Pretty decor and amazing food. Stopped in for lunch today and had shrimp and grits and it was so good. I also love the hush puppies and they bring them to your table as soon as you get seated.

We eat at Swamp Tails very often. We were there a week ago and learned they had removed the ribeye steak from the menu. Why would you remove one of the most popular items on the menu? Doesn’t make sense to me.

Honestly, it's greasy food and not well seasoned. My family has tried it twice and both times it left us wishing we hadn't spent our money there.

Always good food great environment and the customer service is always without a doubt some of the best in oneonta... bartenders are exceptional in their ability to make a drink thats consistent in taste and alcohol everytime always a great place to eat or drink alone or with family and friends I highly recommend swamp tails to anyone who's looking for good food and an even better environment... ❤ ? ?

The manager(prob FOH) working RIGHT NOW SEP24 2021 should be more open to a possible new employee trying to work for the establishment considering I can probably do her job ++ and do it x10 with 5☆☆☆☆☆ ?

The restaurant was closed on Labor Day weekend but did not take the time or trouble to change their voicemail message. Too bad for anyone who drove over. I've actually enjoyed Swamptails twice before. Their food is just fine - nice for the tiny town they're in, they anchor their corner nicely. Their cajunish food is just fine - perhaps a bit overpriced - but it's sufficient to quell those cravings. My mistake trying them again though - next time, I'll hit Nola on Second in Gadsden for some real New Orleans taste.

Worst lunch EVER. No traditional wings. Onion rings so soggy you couldn’t eat them and okra when u picked it up grease was dripping. Should have been a sign when we walked in and only my two people in there

Incredible place to eat. In old section of down town Oneona. Building is neat with brick walls inside. Plenty of seating. Staff very friendly. Yes, food was really good. Worth the drive from Birmingham.

FIRST TIME VISIT TO SWAMP TAILS. RESTAURANT WAS NICE & CLEAN. GATOR TALK WAS CHEWY BUT I GUESS THAT'S TO BE EXPECTED. FOOD CAME IN A REASONABLE TIME BUT IT TOOK 20 MINUTES TO GET ANOTHER ORDER OF HUSHPUPPIES. FRIED CATFISH TASTED OUTSTANDING, BUT THERE WASN'T MUCH OF IT ON THE PLATE. THAT WAS DISAPPOINTING.

I would definitely come here to eat again. I had the shrimp boil. The shrimp needed seasoning. The potatoes, corn and sausage was good. The next time I eat there I will try something else. The hush puppies were really yummy. The servers checked on me a lot. I didn't have to ask for more tea. I also had the red velvet cheesecake. Where was the cheesecake? It still tasted good. The price was about the same as other restaurants. There was a great atmosphere in the restaurant.
