The ambience was spot on and relaxing. The fried dumplings (we tried the pork) were very nice. The dumplings showed the craft of the kitchen staff and were rolled with care and precision. The sushi was first rate as was the soup. The salad dressing showed a nice balance of ginger with a creamy texture. All the ingredients tasted fresh and the pork and chicken were good cuts of meat. The chicken fried rice was a generous portion with a good amount of vegetables. I did not expect to find such a restaurant sharing the parking lot with Walmart, and I am very happy that I gave it a try. Our server was very attentive and more than willing to answer questions. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for such a pleasant experience and you have earned my repeat business.

I ordered chicken fried rice and 3 yum yum sauce. (Now it’s standard to pay for each individual sauce) I like a lot of people enjoy chicken fried rice with yum yum sauce and gladly paid for it. I was assured it was in the tied up bag that was handed to me. I get home to find no sauce, call the restaurant and they offer me a $1.50 credit for my inconvenience. I’m not one to complain, I’ve managed two restaurants in my career and do not feel this is the way to handle this situation. Wanted to support local restaurants but will not be back.

Our family had a great time celebrating at Toke Sushi Grill. My 9yr old son said he’d give it a “11 out of 10” 🤣 The food was fresh and the service was great as well. The interior was clean and orderly.

Don’t waste your money!! The food is horrible! Ordered takeout..filet and shrimp- filet cooked medium..wasn’t a filet at all, was more like skirt steak and was cooked very well done! Rice is over cooked to mush and so is the sushi! Should’ve known that the place was empty for a reason!!

Love the sushi from this place but to spend over $30 to feed two and have both meals come in one container is terrible customer service and product value. Who wants to eat off of the same plate??

I got carry out, if you expect any of the noodles to be SOMEWHAT good ask for soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, yum yum sauce, and sriracha. I got the noodles with shrimp and vegetables, the noodles were dry and all the veggies were gross. The shrimp was okay (i expected them to be fried & crispy they weren’t). I had to pour all the condiments for it to be somewhat good. Don’t get the vegetable rolls, they taste straight out of the freezer. With this restaurant, you’re better off going to Walmart and purchasing chinese food from the freezer section and putting the condiments in since that’s what I felt what I did for double the price, avoid this place.

The sushi is surprisingly delicious for a sushi restaurant in a small town in the middle of Alabama. The service is generally very good and I have never left disappointed in my meal.
