Eating at Grandmother’s house is like stepping back in time. It’s reminiscent of everything I loved about going to my own grandmother’s house to eat. The atmosphere is nostalgic. The food is about as southern as it gets. Be sure to go for breakfast and order the homemade cinnamon rolls! YUMMY! And don’t forget to order the fried okra for lunch. Last, the servers and wait staff are so friendly and eager to enhance your dining experience. You really do feel loved after eating...
Tight quarters and always busy (especially when a church bus is in the parking lot!). But if you're looking for "grandma's home cookin" from your childhood, then this is it. No matter your choice, it's fantastic. See y'all again soon.
Had a very nice lunch there today (8/28/2024). Catfish, fried okra and peas. Wait staff was attentive without being annoying. Dessert was great.
