This was walking distance from our hotel. Dakota, the bartender, was funny and accommodating. We both had burgers. I went for the Black and Blue with flat fries, my husband, the Patty Melt. Both burgers were delicious and the flat fries, I shall now make in my air fryer. There was a wait for the burgers, but we found out the scheduled cook called in, so one of the waitresses was cooking. If we ever stay in Ozark again, we will definitely stop by.
The food is ok. Prices are ok. It is more of a local bar , local people, kinda friendly. My big issue was the dog at the bar. A lady, maybe the owner had a dog at the bar where people were eating. I have dogs but I don’t bring them to the table with me. I found it rude and unprofessional!! Even a service animal shouldn’t be that close to where food is served!! We won’t be back!!
Ok, I realize we are still coming out of a pandemic but the service at this place tonight was horrible! We were two couples and the place might have been half full but not likely. One and a half hours to get served, two of us having drinks had to go to the bar to get our second drink and when the food did come out one and a half hours after ordering, it was not even warm. We sent it back for microwave and then ok. So, I would definitely not go back here myself, probably not even after we’re done with this pandemic because I’m not sure the problem is really just being short handed.
