On the way home from the beach, we were looking for a Mexican restaurant. Googled and was surprised to see El Palacio!! There used to be one in Huntsville years ago . When we pulled in the parking lot, we both noticed the sign was exactly as we remembered!! The food was amazing!! Just like we remembered!! The owner gifted us a jar of salsa on the way out!! We will stop here everytime we go to the beach!!

This was my mother's favorite restaurant and since she past we go on her anniversary. I hate to say the quality went way down. Every dish we order came hot on outside and cold in middle. Cheese dip came to table solid, food was so dry no drink could save you, and was over price ,maybe if was high quality I could chantmind in price. I loved the place so will try again.

We actually drove from Gulfport mississippi heading home in georgia to visit this restaurant. About 90 miles out of the way, but proved to be a great choice. This was a very nice Mexican restaurant. The building has a Quaint Tex mex feel and warm interior. Well appointed with very comfortable booths. We were greated upon arrival and promptly seated. No waiting as we arrived early evening. Our Waitress, Heather, was very professional in many ways. Menu was discussed and questions were quickly answered by our Waitress, Heather. Food ordered and appetizer arrival was prompt. Wife had few special requests,because of certain spices contributed to allergies she has. No worries at this restaurant, as all requests were honored. Food came out perfectly cooked and presentation was on point. Truly a great place to dine with Fantastic employees and no rush to compete, was relaxing. Highly recommend as we definitely will return. 5 star service from Heather and 5 star food choices. No issues here.
