On the way home from the beach, we were looking for a Mexican restaurant. Googled and was surprised to see El Palacio!! There used to be one in Huntsville years ago . When we pulled in the parking lot, we both noticed the sign was exactly as we remembered!! The food was amazing!! Just like we remembered!! The owner gifted us a jar of salsa on the way out!! We will stop here everytime we go to the beach!!
We actually drove from Gulfport mississippi heading home in georgia to visit this restaurant.
About 90 miles out of the way, but proved to be a great choice.
This was a very nice Mexican restaurant.
The building has a Quaint Tex mex feel and warm interior.
Well appointed with very comfortable booths.
We were greated upon arrival and promptly seated. No waiting as we arrived early evening.
Our Waitress, Heather, was very professional...

Heather is AMAZING!!! Best service I’ve had in a while. Treat this lady great because she is a treasure! Constantly checked on us to make sure everything was correct and full! Very personable and knowledgeable about the menu and passionate about giving good service! Food could have used some more love but the service was 12/10!
