Fannie's Cafe is the best ever. Outstanding food, great service, and has the most pleasant owner.
I try to eat at this place every time I come to Ozark I was born and raised in Ozark and the lady that runs that owns this place used to work for Harvey's work with a many many many years she's a very sweet lady down to earth very friendly she's very passionate about this restaurant I visited today and didn't see her and I heard talked in the restaurant that she had to have surgery my thoughts and prayers go out to you and hope you have a speedy recovery and hope you get back to your restaurant quickly because it is not run the way it's from when you're there I can tell you that highly disappointed in the service today
OMG..... PLEASE clean that steam table's water well !!!!!, I lost my appetite after they pulled up the pans to change the pans for new food......how old is that 'gunk' been in there???????. You guys have something special with your overall food taste and service. But I just can't give you guys 5 stars........... P.S. I do like the fact all the food handlers wear gloves, but they need to change them after they scratch there nose, adjust there clothes and wipe sweat. I'm not picking on just one employee, Cause everyone was doing it........ maybe I'm asking for too much. I would like to return because EVERYONE raves about this place. But there are areas where you can do better.
We had some of the best home cooking in Alabama! My husband ate two plates plus dessert ❤️ We will be back ❤️
Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious vegetables to choose from. You could easily make a vegan meal.
Kid-friendliness: No better place to feed your children a balanced meal.
It's just off the court square in downtown Ozark, but it's easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. This was not my first visit, and if Christ our lord wills it, it wont be my last. This was, however, the first time I arrived before opening, and there was a short line already forming at the door. We were still served and seated in a very timely manner. Immediately as you enter, you're met with warm greetings, smooth jazz music on the radio, and the smell of home cooking. They offer a variety of quality entrees and sides, and desert and salad bar are available as well. Usually deciding what to eat is the hardest part because everything always looks delicious! Our drinks remained filled the entire visit, and it was nearly impossible to not overeat. I highly recommend a visit!
Wonderful hostess and waitress. Food was very good. It is a buffet that you choose from but they serve you. Buffet server seemed tired and needing a break; no happy face on her. Homey atmosphere and everyone seemed to know one another and we're chatting. We will be back!
First visit here. It is a "served buffet". Not much for a selection but it is a small homey place where the locals go. I like the fact that they are in a store front in a downtown building. Just around the courthouse square. The food is home cooked with love. The baked chicken melted off the bone good. The yams had tasted like they just came from the garden fresh. Very good. Keep in mind, this is a Buffett. You can go back for more. Definitely worth another visit to try more. If your in Ozark Alabama, look up on Google maps and go visit.
Small in size but HUGE in quality!! A great dining experience with the very best tasting food and great folks to eat with. Our favorite place to eat!
Great food! Awesome service and the nicest ladies I have met in the customer service business in a LONG time! Keep up the great work!
Great food. Very comfortable, family run operation. You’re always greeted at the door with a smile and food is always fresh. Not a very big seating area

It was my first time and it was very good and family friendly and great table service for a buffet. Can't wait to go again!!!!
I have searched for some good, Southern food since I left the South over 22 years ago -lets be honest, its hard to find authentic Southern food these days. Fannie's has on-another-level hometown cooking that will make you slap yo moma! I went for lunch and selected fried chicken, a fried pork chop, cornbread, macaroni and cheese, greens, and sweet tea of course. The food was amazing and was everything you'd hope for in Southern food. The staff were polite and helpful. I did not use the bathroom here (a big deal to me because it reveals a lot) but the place was clean and orderly. Fannie's is worth a stop for sure but check their hours first as they have limited hours it seems. Until we meet again, Fannie's Cafe!
Delicious home cooked style meal.
Food cooked with love is the best. I'm happy no matter what I eat from Fannie's Cafe
